These are fantastic.
everything they make is
their shifter is probably my favorite mod outside the rockkrawler suspension
The venator is the one I had but they share a winch tray and same concept. When I go back to the office next week ill see if I can find the pics of the destruction on my old ipad
Tyree and Nacho both make a cross compatible fog. As far as where to put it you could do a number of things. It would be about a 15 minute task to mount them to the frame plates that drop down (the thing the factory skid attaches to or there several spots along the bumper skin itself you could...
I had that bumper on my jeep before. No offense but its imported cheap stamped steel and comparatively junk. It split apart the first time I hit it on a rock . Its also anything but high clearance.
most of these knock radios are junk and id be suspicious of the vent rerouting.
The new stinger horizon 10 & 12 are high quality units though I took one apart that was broken in transit. Very Well built id recommend it. Ill put one in when my 7” radio craps out
Edit just for clarity I took...
I am aware ****allegedly**** of a design for removable doors that block sound just as well as permanently hinged version. If people are really at a point where they want a quieter cabin, what is ****allegedly**** going to happen is a fixed in place windshield with a steeper rake.
The problem you may encounter by adding an HD skit to those brackets is that the frame bracket itself can and has been torn off the frame. Ive seen it and I know theres some others in here who have too. IMO your money and effort is better spent cutting those brackets off and going to a weld on...
OP if you take nothing else from this post, do not ever put your arms out the window. The number of people who’ve had horrific injuries doing this is very, very high. There’s no scenario where you are stopping the jeep from damage using your appendages.
as far as learning to deal with tilts...
4.56 is the right gear to have for 38s on the ecodiesel. 100% based on my research and is what people who build jeeps and differentials for a living generally agree with.
I have 42s and bigger axles now.
I found a really really good deal on them but they were already made and had 4.88s. I...
I feel like you just made my point for me. The difference between 4.1 & 4.56 will be how often the transmission hunts for a gear on the freeway. The first 5 gears are gone so rapidly that the difference is irrelevant.
Whether you detected a difference in mpg or not depends on a myriad of...
there's a lot of weird stuff going on in this thread for seemingly zero reason other than being argumentative
there are other things to be concerned with on the diesel besides mpg and rpm. namely EGTs but also boost and a couple other ancillary items. from an mpg perspective you cannot get...
