I prefer a solenoid to not be the weak link. The weak link will be my trigger finger. In all likelihood I’ll tension load the cable and probably never use it (if I don’t make a bad enough mistake).
So which solenoid is a suitable choice? I see the Warn 72631 is used with the VR10000 but I don’t see a black solenoid in any of the pics in this thread.
The silver Warn solenoid I see is for smaller winches.
I certainly can’t blame you. Man, some of the horror stories on these forums….
I can’t do anything major on mine as cancer has zapped my strength, so I’m at the mercy of the dealer or an independent shop. But as mentioned I’m lucky to have plenty of choices.
I won’t argue with a dealership if they deny something. I have at least 5 Jeep dealerships within 15 miles of my home so I will just scratch them off the list and go to another dealership.
One has been scratched from my list of available businesses over the past 20 years.
Actually I saw a report where they stole a person’s identity, built up their credit (over a couple years), then ran up the debt to over $100K.
Now that’s dedication. Lol
Wow! That is messed up.
I mentioned the two Jeep dealerships by me that are owned by the same group. The one I presently use treats a person much better and I trust them more.
The reason I trust them more is because they have made two minor mistakes over the years. They owned their mistakes...
Wow, pretty shady with the bribe. Makes you wonder about the integrity of their reviews.
How old is your Gladiator? Maybe the brake fluid is a few years old??
I had Rancho shocks for years and they performed well enough for my use. Living in SoCal there was no worries about rust. I had the 9000’s on a Ford Ranger for over 10 years with no issues.
I even had another set put on my Jeep Liberty. Granted it didn’t really see any offroad though but they...
I agree Covid is a cop out for a lot of stuff to this day. I just don’t understand how any manufacturer or retailer can use it as an excuse four years later.
