My dealer gave me employee price plus 5% off invoice when I ordered it back in August which turns out to be about 15% off. I have been in contact with a few other dealers that have an ecodiesel and they said they are willing to do the 20% off so I’m hoping my dealer will match it. For reference...

Now that a lot of you guys are taking delivery of your ordered gladiators are you pushing for 20% off the MSRP or what are you trying to negotiate?

Just got notified my diesel is waiting for pickup at the dealer. Ordered 8/15 delivered 12/13. Didn’t mind the wait, Unfortunately can’t pick it up until the new year so it will be waiting for me. Excited to get it.

Sure can’t beat that price. I’m going to take delivery of mine in a couple weeks and also plan to keep it for a long time so trying to plan a good but reasonable maintenance plan for it. I do plan to remove certain things upon delivery so that will help with longevity of the oil but I still...

That and If I use the Amsoil and keep the interval closer to 10k it would end up costing about the same as changing it twice as often with the cheaper Quaker oil. Just wasn’t sure if it might be better to change it more frequently since it’s a relatively dirty engine.

So after reading the many pages on different oils I’m still at a loss on if there’s any real world benefit of paying almost double for the Amsoil MS vs just using the Quaker state Euro and keeping oil change intervals around ever 5k miles?

Awesome! Mine is currently on the assembly line with a projected date of delivery December 19th so hopefully I can negotiate something close to that when I take delivery of it.

What dealer are you referring to on the western slope giving the 20% off? I ordered one back in august and the manager worked with me on price giving about 12% off but I’m hoping he will agree to 20% when it finally gets delivered.

My sales manager sent me an email on Saturday saying my diesel is on the production line and should ship around the 1st of December. No change on the tracker, still shows D1.

Curious if anyone knows the micron rating for the stock fuel filter? and I wonder if it would be beneficial to relocate the fuel filter with something similar to this...

Not sure about that. Ordered mine Aug 14th and was just notified today by the dealer that the expected ship date is the 25th of this month. Much sooner than I was expecting so will see. May end up getting delayed but doesn’t matter to me.
