I've added a canopy and roof top tent to my 2023 Mojave and looking to add some heavy duty springs to combat the sag (especially when I add a few passengers, dog and camping gear). Plus, maybe a little lift :) A shop close to me in Minneapolis wants to do the following and I want a second...
Just put the canopy and RTT on. Just under an inch of sag.
I plan on putting an AEV lift kit and Clayton springs in the rear. That way I keep the Fox shocks and stock stance. Thanks everyone!
That’s a lot more weight than I’ll be putting on.
All you did was swap out the coils? Didn’t have to do anything else like shock extensions? Sounds easy simple enough.
I’m installing an Alu-Cab contour canopy (136 pounds) and a Alu-Cab 3R roof top tent (167 pounds) on my 2023 Mojave. Will adding 310 pounds (round up) sag the rear? Research shows the big campers do create sag but not sure if 310 pound setup would.
And if so, what are the do’s and don’ts for...
I ordered the canopy from OK4wd and they just sent me a replacement latch. So you should expect yours soon. It’s not 100% identical though.
Side note for potential buyers - I live on a 1 miles gravel road and after a few days you’ll for sure get dust in the bed from the tail gate gap (which...
I got my Alu-Cab canopy over the weekend and decided to install last night. Pretty easy to install. There are gaps at the front so I used Windo Weld by 3M around the entire base. Hopefully it works keeping water out. Quality of the canopy is great but I’ll say the weather stripping it came...
Mine has been in “scheduled” for 23 days but the dealership just told me it has a ship date of Jan 20th. The online tracker doesn’t even say it’s in production yet. I’ve got no idea what is accurate.
Placed my order yesterday (Nov 30). Maybe a March delivery at the earliest. Dealership told me manual transmissions are taking longer. No idea if it’s true or not.
