Doh. Maybe I should take mine out of the case I normally keep it in to make it fit. I also thought about strapping it to the roll bar with velcro straps or a Quick-fist clamp.
You fit the Charge 4 in the speaker pocket? I have the Charge 4 and it seems way deeper than the pocket. I keep it under the seats and charge via USB on the back of the console. But with 20 hour of run time, it does not need it that often.
Interesting idea, cheap and convenient to store I added a Sunrider top, but might do this for when I put the top back on. Too bad no one has molded something like the foam pieces out of rubber. Thanks.
Search the forum. I think someone did a DIY with metal grate from Home Depot and screwed them into the holes for the rails. You can also make rails out of unistrut for under $100. I bought the rail system and front molle panel from Builtright and am very pleased with the quality and price of...
Here's what I ended up with. Not perfect, but will work until I build a camper. It's a little tough to get in place, but other than not keeping the edges watertight, it'll function for now. I have to roll the tonneau cover edge under to fit it, then it covers and latches.
This has come up several times with various sections. Due to how the system controls volume, the radio volume is separate from Android Assistant and Airplay volumes. and call volumes. When you are using ANY function (Hey Google, Siri, etc) you have a separate volume control that shows in red...
As long as the support bars on the RTT don't interfere with the bolt head, I kind of like this idea. It seems like it would provide better support across the point where the strut contacts the bracket. This theoretically is stronger than using the screws and channel bolt, although I think...
I've only had this happen once at a gas station that I think had very high powered gas pumps. It seemed to fill in a hurry compared to most, so I wrote it off to that. NEver had the problem at Shell or Exxon which are my go to stations.
I just did mine and it looks like all volumes except main go back to zero. This includes the phone call volume and the Android Assistant volume, so I assume it also includes Carplay volume. These volumes can only get changed when you are using that function. Make a call, you can change call...
I assume you have the special 12+8 cable? I have seen other posts on the JSCAN thread that people say it can be done. If not, that is discouraging, as I didn't want to spring for Tazer
I use a magnetic mount I had in my last vehicle with a goose neck magnet to the lighter socket. It gets in the way of the 4WD knob a little, but I can move it when going offroad or move it and put it back after shifting to 4L.
I love my Sunrider in the twill version. Found it on Amazon priced wrong ($100 off), so got a good deal and a $100 rebate, but would have bought it anyway. I use it all the time. It also fits over my full sunshade, but is more complicated with that on.
