The factory liner is over those Plugs in mine. Now that I see then it makes more sense I thought they did a crappy job on my factory liner. It looks like they pooled the line where the four floor plugs are.
Obviously I didn’t wait, but after seeing the diesel reviews in the JL, I’ll probably trade in for one next Fall, especially if they come out with a willys trim level that would be perfect
The corners still take up too much space IMO, but that worked pretty well for the window, I have the cargo management package so that’s the flat Tom storage box it’s sitting on
I have a friend who did a whole 4Runner in rhino lining. probably 15 years ago. It looked really cool for a while but now it seems like it’s wearing off in some spots and it’s peeling in others. That said it went from NC to Hawaii to NC to DC and back to NC in that time. I’d say for a bout 10...
When I’m driving I can’t see it. It’s super easy to take down since it usually rains for 20 minutes every afternoon I the summer here I think it’s great. Honestly to unwrapped rear roll bar tubes bothers me way more but my back window stays off unless I’m going to the car wash.
500 dollars is a probably only a1% discount on a rubi probably. if they won’t give you that you should probably find a different dealer. I get that there aren’t a lot of Discounts on jeeps but seriously that’s just greedy. Drive further away from base the farther you get the more patriotic the...
Don’t you remember ford going on and on about using aluminum? But for real it’s lighter, harder to actually dent easily and it doesn’t rust. The down side is once you do dent it you probably have to replace it it doesn’t really straighten easily and it cost more than steel.
Growing up in Orlando the hot setup was a bikini top with hard doors year round, I’m moving down to Tampa and suspect I will take may back window and corners off and probably leave them off for the next 3 years unless we are taking a road trip. I’ve driven mine back and for the about 4 times...
As a long time weekend gas tow guy I got the max tow with the intent of towing a 5000 gwr lbs airstream myself. This will be a reduction from my 2004 f150 and 7000 gwr rockwood combo I got out of. I never put my old rig on a scale but I’m sure it weighed a lot more words the end we averaged a...
The ACC rubicon is white tie a ghost , when it detects a car in front though it shows a full color WW2 willys. It was distractingly cool the fist time I saw it
Not totally relevant I think but, The adaptive cruse screen on my sport s has a rubicon on it (hood vents) I assume that that’s because they expect to put that option on mostly high end models.
I would see the Jeep splash screen on the LEs as away to set them apart for a regular rubicon, but...
Here at Ft Bragg we have all kinds of weird vehicles, that have no armor at all on them. They aren’t used to fight from. They are so the infantry guys can move faster and carry more stuff. They still plan to fight on foot like they always have Right now they have everything from Flyer GMVs...
You can turn the beep on and off in settings, I will say so far I’ve gotten a lot less false readings with the Jeep than my wife’s 2016 Volvo. The technology keeps getting better, just an aid I know but I’m ok with any help I can get.
C is what we have on HMVEEs it an army common item, I’ve broken a few in the last 25 years. The one at the actual show looks like it’s CARC paint (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) I could see SOF looking at these since they can probably drive in and out of a Osprey or Chinook.
I was thinking...
Finally picked my ride up last night, but I’m going to try storing it sandwiched between the seat and the trail rail box so far so good I probably need to wrap it completely si I will probably co great a fleece blanket sewn into a pouch for it
I have picks but I’m not sure how to post them so...
