It on its own stopped having this issue shortly after I posted. No clue why it was doing it or why it suddenly fixed. I do find myself still looking to make sure it turns of completely to this day.
Thanks for the clarity. I was under the assumption that it was actually flowing into the tank like a small bypass. Not an overflow. My mistake. Appreciate your insight!
Only have just over 11,000 miles and so far wearing great. No issues other than they love to collect rocks. Bought them back when they were $660. For a set of 5. Will never see that deal again. Knew I should have grabbed 2 sets.

Pulled the belt clip out of holster and drilled hole. Attached with a 1/2 longer bolt and 1/2 spacer in place of front center console bolt. Bolt on clip slide holster back on clip.
Need to drill hole in front of clip big enough for bolt to go all the way through first half and bolt the back...
