You Yankees can drive whatever panda or koala party you want, but here in the South we aren’t space deprived, and wouldn’t be caught dead in a 1L fiesta.
You say that as if its bad thing. The last thing I ever would want is a truck that's designed for Europe. They say the same thing about our houses and refrigerators. Only two kinds of countries in the world, those who use the metric system, and those who put men on the freakin moon. Murica
Oh the Gladiator is butt ugly, but that's endearing to me in a way. I know for sure my opinion isn't the only one cause obviously if they are selling them then people like it.
Not to be disrespectful but we differ on "look great" lol. I have owned plenty of Ford's but these new rangers just look off to me. They remind me of the Chevy luv Iraqi police trucks during my time in. Just too many curves, too feminine. Like a fusion on stilts. You definitely made it look...
Definitely something ill consider. I do have tow package. I would imagine that would make it so you had to ditch the front skid plate. A give and take there for sure.
lol. We do sometimes. All jokes aside I served with several great sailors. The electronic warfare guys who kitted our trucks in Iraq were top notch, as well as the seabees.
ALOT of good info. Thanks! I wont hold it against you that your a Navy man. I hear 1400 sailors go out and 700 couples come back............Go Army Hooah!
"Need" is a subjective word. I think the real question is where you want to be on the capability vs use spectrum. Do you want the ridgeline operating close to the edge of its limits, or do you want more in the tank if you need it. Like a .22 could get the job done 99% of the time, but I carry...
A lot of good info, thanks. It is going to live on the bumper so perhaps that's the way to go. That's an amazing deal you got. I'll keep my eyes peeled on there for sure. Gotta get the winch capable bumper first anyhow.
Yeah the reviews are good for most of what I see out there. What worries me is people justifying their choice through reviews. Not too many people are willing to say they made the wrong choice and are looking to confirm their decision. That's why I'm asking here. The VR Evo and the Smitty...
If the locker isn't something you need then why go rubicon? I got the "Trac-lok" rear on my Sport S that seems to work pretty well. I was out he door well under $40K. Threw on the the Rubi wheels for another grand. I used to bleed Ford blue myself, but that Ranger just seems so strange...
So I am completely new at off-roading and don't have anyone currently to hit some trails with so I'd like the backup of having a winch for self recovery. I am looking towards a Warn VR EVO but have a some questions. I obviously don't want to burn money, but I also know buy once cry once. A...
The only thing holding me back from this is the flip out real key. I run doors off every chance I get and lock my back seats and console. Keep my sunglasses in the console so I use that key a lot. I do despise the size of this thing for sure.
