So I went to Rausch creek yesterday and I did the badge of honor trails and some various greens and blues getting from one trail to the next. It was a blast! Truck performed great and I was super impressed with the k02s. Couple tight spots, but made it through with out any crazy trail damage...

I bought these and haven’t had any issues.
Couple minor things today. I put longer bolts in the top rear sway bar end links. The old ones were pretty damn short, especially after putting on the metal cloak reinforcement bracket. I also mounted my element fire extinguisher using a quick fist and a molle insert from gorman precision...
So two things. First, I got my new hardware in the mail from avo, much better on the bottom clamps now. The bolts are threaded all the way through the nylock nuts. Awful quality control on alu cabs part, but mistakes happen. Second, I’m prob just being picky, but we have had some good rain...
I kept hearing a rattle or some type of noise every time I went over a bump, pot hole etc. I’ve been trying to chase it down looking all over the bolts on my suspension, cleared everything out under my rear seat that could be moving around. And I think I finally found it. Above the rear drive...
You can get that same kit at northridge 4x4 for a hell of a lot cheaper. And use the various discount codes that they offer or some YouTubers have on their channels. That’s what I did and I think I paid mid 700s.
Yeah I told avo that as well, and said they swapped over to a new hardware and didn’t update the instructions. So they are sending me out longer bolts. The shim part was also confusing to me. So I just put enough in there so there wasn’t any gap between the brackets.
AVO is sending me out new bolts for the bottom brackets b/c the ones that came in the kit were to small from alu cab . Bolts don’t even pass through the nylock.
Yeah prob nice to have for small camping trips with kids and stuff, but no way I’m taking that on a trail and tearing the material. At that point it’s 1k towards a legit tent. Def a cool idea!
