LOL - as if scientific research is the ONLY method to gauge an "opinion"... And as if scientific research is the only way to gauge what people "think" or how they "feel" about impacts on their lives and wallets. Science is not the answer to everything and I would argue its not the answer to most...
I have a 23 HA and was in same boat last year. I added the teraflex 1.5" front and daystar .75" rear leveling spacers to help clear 35's. I wanted a small change to clear 35's for now that was inexpensive. This fit the bill.
I also added (after intial install) the Steersmarts beefy adjustable...
Did a disconnect (youtube video) on mine (have had it that way for 6+ months) and zero issues. No indicator lights and main battery is charging just fine. Only 2 years old but I've had it for a year. Its a 23 but bought it in early 24. I also have a Tazer and had disabled the ESS upon installing it.
I noticed this (or thought I did) last year and then figured I must have been seeing things. These posts make me feel better that I am not crazy but my issue is the same as everyone elses's. Its not there, just the Range in the center is. Weird
Have to disagree here. I calculated mine last week and it was within .3mpg in accuracy. This was based on miles driven and gallons used to drive them at fill up. I thought that was pretty good. Tire size updated via Tazer as well.
I went and picked up an Aluma MC10 trailer on Friday in Ohio. 180mi each way with heavy winds for about the last 25% of the way to it (no trailer) and got 17.5mpg there. That was with cruise at 70 on I-80 and my helping it here and there stay in 8th gear.
I have 35's and a 1.5" spacer lift and...
Installed
YETI XD™ 2018-2024+ JL/JT Sector Shaft Brace With Frame Side Track Bar Reinforcement Bracket - STEEL STEERING BOX
All in all, install wasn't horrible but the instructions called for use of a washer on top of the new sector shaft nut but on my 2023 HA, it absolutely would not work...
I have had them on for about a month and so far they are as stable as the day I installed them. I am thinking though of selling them (all 4 together or 2 pairs separately) as with my height, they are not low enough to act as a step for me personally. If anyone is interested, pls DM me. I live in...
Wknd stuff:
- Installed Boom Mat:
I think this stuff does a good job of reducing the ambient noise in the cabin. If U ever take your Jeep through a touchless carwash, U know it sounds like your heads gonna explode. Much better now. I can hear myself think during that process, radio sounds...
I didnt have to remove the rock rails to install mine. if I would have needed to do that, I would have returned these. The ease of install was 1/2 of why I wanted them. That said, they are pricey for sure. Especially considering other full rails are about $300 for the pair. My wife digs them and...
I think they look great too.
Main reason I got them was for their look and that they attach directly to the OEM Rock Rails, keeping the clearance you have with those vs. getting a whole new running board that reduces clearance and requires removal of OEM Rock Rails.
When my order processed...
OK, these arrived earlier today. I unpacked them and they were well packaged.
They appear to be a high-quality materials the little badges look really good once inserted. I have pictures here with and without them.
The angled area has some kind of felt-ish layer which will help ensure you do...
