  5. Morpar 2” Kit Too High in Rear

    Yes dealer installed the kit. Overall too tall. Top of roof = 77”. Worried about parking garage height limitations. IMO too much space between fenders & tires with 315/70’s and my little kids struggled to climb in. Now at 75.5” tall and -1” front & rear.

    The different coil spring rates would make for a horrible ride. I went with Rubi take off coils, Mopar Fox shocks and 2” spacer in front. Lowered 1” overall ft & rr. The Rubi coils provide a great ride and the firmer Mopar Fox shocks offer excellent damping. It rides awesome.

    Does anyone know of an alternative rear coil spring that could be used in place of the units provided in the kit? Perhaps a shorter length to reduce ride height by 1-1.5 inches. Maybe a compatible coil from a RAM 1500 or JL? I’m looking to reduce overall lift. I got 2.5-2.75 from the supplied...
