  1. Gladiator Glamour Shots

I'm not a photographer...and just have my cell phone...but I think she's looking pretty good in this pic from today.
  2. Need WINTER Tire recommendations for 2021 Willy’s Diesel—KM2’s NOT cutting it!!

Ahhh well that explains it....you had the mud terrains. The actual KO2's with the three mountain peak snowflake rating are pretty darn good in snow. Mud terrains are downright dangerous in pretty much all snow and ice other than super deep offroading in snow. These are KO2s :
  3. “Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon”

Reading this entire thread just now...and so glad it is resolved for OP. I could not agree more with the posts saying "boy we are all in trouble".....as I too have never been on more than dirt roads with a few small puddles.......and it is absolutely filthy under my hood. Purchased in February...
  4. Need WINTER Tire recommendations for 2021 Willy’s Diesel—KM2’s NOT cutting it!!

If you feel the triple mountain peak rated BFGs are not getting the job done, no other normal AT tire will, and it is time for some dedicated snow tires. The only other thing I would add is to put at least 200 pounds in the bed (bags of sand work great).
  5. The trip home from Gupton to Ca ongoing - picked up Gecko JT

Looks great! On the bedliner...you are better off getting it aftermarket anyway. The LineX shops do a much better prep job (improves adherance) and put the product on much thicker.
  6. Financing Options

I have no experience with Gupton and my comment does not relate to them. Let me just say I used one of the other high volume internet dealers for my custom order. What the finance manager verbally told me and what was printed on my actual loan documents was very different when it came to early...
  7. Frame Damage on Newly Purchased Gladiator

Yep...just some scuffed paint on the underbelly. Not even worth letting it raise your blood pressure or the time to make the appointment and trip to the dealer. A few squirts of rustoleum or the fluid film and call it a day.
  8. Mopar 2.5” lift vs. 2.5” Clayton Ride Right+ ?

Yes it is advertised that way but ther eare many reports on here that it resulted in a 2.5" actual lift as measured post install.
  9. Leaking axle seal?

Have to agree....sure sounds like a dealer trying to possibly wiggle out of a warranty repair....or at a minimum to make it seem like they are doing you a favor if they do end up covering under warranty.
  10. how much are JTRD take off tires going for

This^^ It is just sort of a tough/odd sale for tires only. It really just comes down to the local market and the right buyer at the right time. While the Falkens are decent tires, a lot of people would not necessarily be looking at them unless the price was very very attractive. I went down this...
  11. 1086lb Payload capacity, Mojave. What?

If that is true about the maverick I suspect a lot of it could have to do with how much lower it is to the ground and how much less suspension travel, etc. As a parallel comparison our 2008 Volvo V70 station wagon had something like a 1,400lb payload...that car was built very well, but also kept...
  12. Leaking axle seal?

Well, mine was repaired for the SECOND time today. I took a peek under before I went in to get the keys, and found that the tech couldn't even be bothered to take the two minutes to spray some brake cleaner and wipe with a rag to clean up all the seepage. No pride in their work, could care...
  13. Leveling Kit and rear .75 spacer?

I have a sport s max tow (just mentioning for awareness of fender clearance and spring aspects). I installed 285/70/17 JLU Rubicon takesoffs and wanted to: open up the fender gap a little more and reduce (but not fully eliminate...some people skip the rear spacer so that they are 100% level)...
  14. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

LOL oil discussions always bring out this sort of rhetoric of a warranty being denied. I will sleep just fine at night using the Mobil 1 Extended Performance that meets the MS-6395 spec. My engine doesn't know whether I pour in Pennzoil or Mobil 1 of the proper spec and viscosity. But if you...
  15. 6,500 miles oil life still 32%

The Pennzoil was previously recommended purely because of some long running beef between Mopar and Mobil. Same reason the Mobil 1 did not carry the MS -6395 approval until the last year or two....but does now.
  16. Leaking axle seal?

pic out of focus and can't really see much....but yeah a sharp edge left over from machining could certainly mess up a gasket/seal. This could be the closest thing to a possible explanation we have seen so far....at least in my opinion.
  17. New wet pavement handling issues?...

SO I have noticed this more recently in my 21 sport s with max tow and 285/70/17 bfg ATs. I only have a 1.5" spacer up front and a .75" spacer in the back. However, in my case it was slight and honestly did not surprise me at all given: it's a truck, nose heavy, with AT tires. Basically I went...
  18. Best 35" A/T tires

THANKS! I never dug deep on the Nittos as I had planned to stick with BFGs for the Jeep....with the remote possibility of going to General Grabber ATX since I trust continental/general from th emany sets we have had on our cars. The more I think about all of the recommendations I have seen for...
  19. Best 35" A/T tires

?? Just curious what this comment is based on? Sure seems to be a lot of folks recommending Nittos, and a lot of hardcore offroaders consider them to be the best. I'm a BFG guy all the way for Jeeps (have been since the 90s) but I currently love General/Continental for passenger car tires.
  20. Max Tow - Painted or black fenders??

2021 Sport S with max tow....painted were default. I actually wanted the black and didn't realize the painted were standard until after my order was placed. I've actually grown to really like the painted. Mine has the silver bumper accents as well.
