  1. AEV Salta XR or Borah wheel clearance

Thanks for the pic. Oddly, that looks to stick out about the same as mine with -12 offset. I may need to go with a 35"x11.5" or even 10.5" to keep them under the fenders.
  2. AEV Salta XR or Borah wheel clearance

I am thinking about the AEV Saltra or XR for my Gladiator Max Tow and wondering about clearance with the 5.72" backspace. I just installed the Clayton 2.5" overland lift and they recommend 4.75" of backspace. They are not sure if there would be clearance issues with the AEV offset and the wider...
  3. Fox steering stabilizer install help

Cool, that looks like it will work. Thanks!
  4. Fox steering stabilizer install help

I assume that you found a bracket to move the ATS to the tie rod, or are you going to manufacture one? If you found one, could you share? I would rather go that route to keep it higher, especially running stock height and I don't have the protection like the Mojave.
  5. Fox steering stabilizer install help

Cool thanks for the pic. Probably not too good to have it that low, but will probably work until I find a relocation bracket. I'll try installing it like that.
  6. Fox steering stabilizer install help

Unfortunately not. That does not work with the Fox I have. The part number of my stabilizer is 983-02-148
  7. Fox steering stabilizer install help

Sure, but probably won't be able to see it too well. I don't have a lift, so taking a picture is difficult, but you can probably tell there is just room for the stock stabilizer and the Fox is much larger. I'm assuming this is likely an issue with many aftermarket track bars as they are...
  8. Fox steering stabilizer install help

I picked up a Fox ATS race series 2.0 steering stabilizer for my Gladiator and found that it will not work with the Yeti track bar I have installed. At least not without a lift, which is on back order. I'm doing a 2.5" lift. I'm assuming that I will need to move it to the tie rod, but don't see...
  9. Universal fitment wheels?!

While hub centric wheels are the way to go, there is a good work around for lug centric wheels. You can use hub centric rings to fill that gap which will resolve the issue. I've used them before with no issues.
  10. Does any one have a 2021 gladiator that wanders.

Yes, mine is quite bad. I took it to the dealer but they were not able to fix it. Made it worse actually. I did all the typical suggested stuff; torque everything, lower tire pressure, balance tires. Running tires at 32 lbs helps a little unless its windy or towing, but then you have the...
  11. Man I'm getting pissed

Agree with you completely. I ordered stuff that is on back order and don't have an issue at all with that as the companies are honest and you at least know what to expect... somewhat anyway. I'm waiting for a steering stabilizer now that I know a lot of other people are in the same boat. It...
  12. I'm a wanderer

I wanted to provide an update on this in case anyone is interested. First, I centered the steering wheel which resolved the traction control coming on. I installed the Steersmarts sector brace\track bar reinforcement bracket and Yeti XD Pro track bar. These are high quality products and a...
  13. I'm a wanderer

I had the traction control come on again on a straight road doing about 55 with no wind. I searched the JL forum and think I may have found the issue in case anyone else has this happen to them. My steering wheel was not centered after the dealer did the front end alignments. It was between...
  14. I'm a wanderer

I had thought about that, or even taking it back to the dealer I bought it from. They were pretty straight that if I have issues to bring it right back. Thing is, I don't think its worth my time and money to continue taking it back to the dealer and think that aftermarket parts will make it...
  15. How Many Miles...

Mine had 126 miles on it. My dealer got it from another about 80 miles away, so that was the majority of the miles. It was on the lot for a few months, so a few test drives.
  16. I'm a wanderer

should have mentioned it is a 21 and has the updated steering box.
  17. I'm a wanderer

They are at 36. I did drop them to 32 and it did seem a bit better, but the TMS sensor came on. Maybe have to get a programmer to correct that and run at 32 if the other things don't resolve. When I took it into the dealer, they rotated the tires, inflated them to 36 and did a couple of...
  18. I'm a wanderer

Thanks for the reply. I do want to get it into the garage and check the torque on everything. This is another thing that I see mentioned often. Just have to clean the garage to make some space. Will need to get that done before the parts get here anyway.
  19. I'm a wanderer

I'm lucky enough to have the wandering and pulling to the right issue on my Sport S. Totally stock with under 1,000 miles. Took it to the dealer to look at it and I think they made it a little worse. My traction control was coming on the other day with just light wind I was getting pushed so...
  20. Gladiator Mojave or Sport S MaxTow

Depends on what you are going to use it for. If you need the beefed up frame, the Mojave may be the way to go. Otherwise you can save about $20K getting the Sport S with Max Tow package. which leaves room for a lot of upgrades and money left over. If you are going to be ripping the Mojave parts...
