I have the Gen 1 RLD. Other than the fit, I have to say it is far and away the best shell I have ever had (4th one so far). What I really like is how I can adapt it and add all kinds of attachments with simple struts. I have a shovel and lights mounted inside and my boat racks on top. I do...
I am in this camp as well. I put 165,000 miles on a 5.7 PowerWagon and always felt it was under powered. Ordered a 392 Charger a couple years ago. When it arrived I took it for a test drive and determined right there it was overblown for my tastes. I do not need to burn rubber. I DO NEED TO...
I just relocated to Douglasville from Denver (with a partial 1 year layover in Memphis). We just fully moved and are settled in and unpacking. After driving multiple trips between Denver and Atlanta I am in desperate need of routine maintenance and diff/t-case fluid changes. I hate doing these...
I have the GEN 1 and while I do not like the look that much I think the functionality is great. The topper meets all my needs quite well and is working great for me. I have no reason to trade it in for a GEN 2, as doing so is just too much hassle for no substantive gain in my opinion.
I have a couple gas and water rotopax. I am not overly impressed with them either. I feel the 2 gal capacity is insufficient and the 4 gal design takes too much surface area. I find that the rotopax warp and become hard to remove. Swelling also as pointed out above. My pour mechanisms seem to...

I wanted to get a VR EVO but I needed it installed urgently before hunting season last fall and pretty much every model from every manufacturer was out of stock or would take 3+ weeks to ship so I ended up ordering one from Quadratec. Shipped to me in 2 days, installed one day...
I have this as well. But only in 4-Low and only when switching between Drive and Reverse. And, @JeepCares I brought this to the attention of my dealer but they said it was "Normal Operation".
Sorry for the long delay in responding.

As to the gap on the rear door. It is significant. But way less overall area than that of the Gladiators tail gate. At some point I will add some weather stripping. Maybe not...
One area of interest I have not seen discussed so far is the hinges. RLD has small exterior hinges. May not be that secure. But anyone can smash a window way easier than removing the hinges. What may be different is water shedding when doors are open in the rain. It looks as if the Alu Cab...
