I got the same one today. Perfect timing, because I'm completing my deal on my ordered Gladiator tomorrow. Also have a TrueCar $500 code that expires on 3/8.

Lots of interesting information in that video, but much of it doesn't apply to these engines. However, a few things did stand out, particularly in regard to subjecting the motor to load right away, particularly in light of this part of the JTD owners' manual:
It would seem it would be best to...
Ordered 1/5. Shipped via rail 2/6. Arrived Winston-Salem 2/15. Picked up by truck and delivered to dealer last night 3/1. And I'm out of town til 3/7. ?
I ordered 1/5. Truck is built and shipped to the nearest rail depot, in Winston-Salem, NC. Been sitting there 11 days now, waiting on a truck, apparently.
That's really unusual, could be a problem with his truck. My 6.6L Duramax would regen about once every tank of fuel. It was very noticeable because mpg would drop from 20ish to 10-12, and if I stopped before it was complete the smell was very noticeable. I primarily did a lot of short trips...
I'm still waiting for my JTRD to be delivered, but reading all these threads (and coming from a Chevy 3500 Duramax) about DPF/DEF and regens. Has anyone tried using the AlfaOBD app to do a forced stationary manual regen...
I used EasyAutoShip as my broker when I had my wife's Santa Fe shipped from Idaho to NC. They by far had the best and most responsive customer service. They worked very hard to get her car picked up on the day we requested, rather than a week +/- window like most other brokers I contacted...
I considered doing the same thing, but my dealer charges $1100 to install a lift with adjustable track bars and control arms ($700 for a simpler lift). For that kind of money, I can do it myself and the $1100 would pretty easily cover any components that might have the warranty voided on them...
Thanks for the input! I don't do any hardcore wheeling, the primary purpose would be holding bikes or maybe a rocket box for more storage for when we go camping, towing our small toyhauler.
I'll probably just fab up some leg extensions for my existing Thule rack setup (cheapest route) or...
Looks great, and pretty much what I want to do. Are you certain the X4 won't roll all the way forward with longer legs on the rack? I've got an X4 on the way, and I'm looking for a relatively simple bed rack setup (to carry bikes on) that will work with it and allow the cover to roll all the...
Yeah I don't know why it's deleted, I didn't ask for that. Most Gladiators I've seen in my area have the same thing. ?♂️ I think I'd rather have it, but whatever.
