the license plate has a bracket that pops into the opening on the bumper and the fairlead, that way when your off-road, you just pop the whole assembly off and you’re ready to go.it easy to route the line behind the plate bracket It’s the rugged ridge license plate bracket.
buy once, cry once. And then live happily because you won’t be wondering if you made the right choice then decide to start upgrading all over. I just bought the Clayton overland + lift and while I haven’t installed it yet, the components are second to none. When I opened the box and saw the size...
It would be a drive, but after going to 3 dealerships and each one trying to screw me over, I drove an hour away to Mike Brown in Granbiey. They had more gladiators than anyone else and didn’t play a ton of games. They gave me $2k more for my trade than anyone else was willing to, and actually...
I believe Clayton lists recommended lengths in thier instictions on thier website. Depending upon what you have and what springs you go with, that should get you started and you can measure and compare lengths to the mopar arms you have.
For 30K you could build an amazing rig that's been re-geared and probably replace everything 3 times if needed, so what good is the warranty at that point. That's a steep price tag for convenience IMO.
Plus, if you are set on running 40's and that big of a lift, the biggest limitations will be...
Awesome truck! Love the looks and don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t apply to all ram drivers. I wold still love a nice rebel or TRX as a second vehicle. And I agree there’s azzhats in every group for sure. Hell, we’ve even seen it between JL and JT owners. :)
i was looking at a ram rebel at one point, and decided against it for that reason… and the gas mileage. In my area, most people that drive lifted or modded Rams tend to be that way.Not all of course, but a disproportionate amount. “Yee yee” …. And if you get that reference you know what I am...
yeah, when I mounted it in the center the solenoid fit, it was just the cables were rubbing in the bottom of the grill, so I wanted to move them so they didn’t rub the paint.
Yep, I am running a smittybilt xrc 9500lb.
the winch fit fine but had a few issues getting clearance on some of the cables. It’s more of a winch issue really and it may have been user error, so I just moved the solenoid to the side and it’s awesome. Plus it doesn’t restrict airflow.
Looking to sell my teraflex fixed front lower control arms. They are brand new and still in the boxes. I bought them from another member with the intent to install, but they have sat in my office since they arrived. These are good for 2.5-3.5” of lift. Perfect solution to get some caster back...
Wow! I say yes, the extra cost is worth it. I wish I had these a month ago when I moved my dogs 200 miles to our new house. The golden retriever test is a legit test of durability!
In my opinion, the mopar lift should be fine with the the arms that come with it unless you are going to be doing some serious off roading. I don't know if adding the the correction bracket changes anything, but if so, it would just add more caster. Adding the front and rear track bar is a bonus...
