Up for sale is the takeoff from stock suspension of our new Gladiator Rubicon. Everything seen in picture is included in the price. It is basically new, the Rubicon was sitting at 600 miles when the parts were taken off. I'm asking $400 (OBO) for everything. It's kind of heavy so shipping it...
So, recently our 2021 Jeep Gladiator 'Gladys' got to the point where multiple front end suspension parts were wearing out. I had already replaced a leaking shock and a track bar. The dreaded death wobble had hit. Then the tie rod was loose and I was like... nope that's enough. Let's put the...
Update, on Friday 4/3 I talked to the shop and they were willing to revert the parts that they had installed back to factory so I could at least have my ride back. Great group of guys, if you're ever in need of a mech in N Ga. They also threw on my 35"s in the process and put on the new...
Life happens, stuff gets f'ed up and people are human I get that. What is really annoying I guess is that there hasn't been on "sorry for the trouble" any kind of acknowledgement, no attempt to make it right or try any accommodations to at least say wow that was really a P.I.T.A for you...
Yes I should have waited. Shame on me for trusting the issue to get resolved quickly and I knew someone would point that out. So, go ahead flame on... I just wanted to vent somewhere.
I have to gripe. And I may get this post removed. But I am STILL in the process of a terrible customer experience with Quadratec. Which is frankly surprising to me given their survivability in the online retail space. I ordered the "Quadratec Maximum Duty 2.5" Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit...
4 Wheels AND Tires off of brand new Rubicon currently with 450 miles on them. I am driving it, until the new Wheel Tire combo arrives this week so the mileage may go up a bit but it should stay under 1000 miles regardless. Asking $1000
So the price of an OEM utility track is just stupid. $300+ vs about $40 for an 8' strip of strut hanger from Lowes, cut it in half and paint it with some underbody coating, and some handy little hooks off Amazon for $17 and I'm done.
True. I agree. That's why I need the rack to be kind of modular. It won't have the tent etc on it all the time. I'll need it for my paddleboards in the summer and ladders etc.
Yea I was considering buying a bender myself and then I came across those DIY muffler kits. I may revisit this option. I might just visit the local muffler shop here in town with some pipes and see if he'll bend them for a smaller price than me buying my own equipment. Cuz let's be honest...
That's pretty dang cool. Ever get any side to side movement with a load? Or have any idea what the weight limit might be on those? I quickly glanced at the website and I couldn't find any specs on what the weight limit is?
That's a great idea. We use a lot of 80/20 here at work. My only problem is, I'm not a fan of the squared off tubing. I'm trying to find something rounded. And I need something that's gonna have a 45 degree angle option too. Picky I know...
Awesome info. Thanks so much for the feedback. I just didn't realize that part. Anyone know if there are any kind of DIY tubing kits for racks (but in the correct thickness?) I can't seem to find anything...
See this is the brain power I was talking about. I honestly didn't consider wall thickness. But yea if I'm sitting up on top of that thing, I'd hate for it to buckle or wobble...
So, I'm new to a Gladiator (but not Jeeps, I've had four Wranglers) and LOVE the ability to mod the absolute crap out of them. That's the main draw for me. Anyway, I got a Glady this time because I can admit the need to have a truck option but still have the good parts of a Wrangler. Now that...
Just got this beaut on Sunday. Not really sure yet what all I'm going to want to do to her... But it came with 2" Mopar Lift (I THINK), Fuel Rebel 17"s in Bronze and BFG Mud Terrain 37 12.50s. Not a bad set up right from the dealership! (It was used so someone else did the work and MONEY...
