Just as an FYI, at least for the LE model Chrysler will not honor the tread Lightly discount. I spoke with Chrysler personally and Helfman Dodge followed up and got the same answer
So I had a conversation with both Chrysler and my local dealer. Chrysler will not honor the tread Lightly discount for any LE edition but may honor on future orders. My dealer called the zone rep and he confirmed.
If your dealer is offering a discountāgood for youātake it and be happy!
I called Chrysler and confirmed my VON. I then talked to the dealer and he confirmed the order was in BX status. The dealer is very frustrated as he has 3 orders in and no Concierge calls. So it seems I have a confirmed order. I guess Iāll know for sure if I get a VIN in the next two weeks!
I...
Still no call. Dealer placed order on the 4th and I have a Von. Called Chrysler today and they verified VON was good and in the system. Dealer checked and order has moved to BX status. Maybe I āll Never get the call!!!!
So my dealer put the order in the system for me and sent us a confirmation number. He sent me a note that Chrysler Concierge would call to confirm that we had selected his dealership. I also received.the same two emails as you have posted.
So I ordered an LE on the 4th. Called FCA to get my PIN and they said it would not be honored for a JT at this time.
I need to discuss with the dealer.
So I put in my pre-order at 5:30 this morning. I received an email confirmation that a Concierge would cam me from Chrysler.
Iām working a trade show today so the dealer called my wife and asked for a copy of the email. Then they placed the order in the dealer system for me, took the deposit...
Dealer in Houston is supposed to have an answer on an order date by 9:45 tomorrow morning. They have been quite helpful and if I get any solid information I will pass it along.
A safe assumption is that the Gladiator will not be any less expensive than itās JL equivalent. A loaded Rubicon JLU stickers north of $50k. FCA is not going to sell a high demand, new product any cheaper.
Official pricing will be released midnight 3/30/19

So as an former Louisiana car dealer it amazed me that all Jeep vehicles were considered cars. A J-10 or 3/4 ton J20 could get a car license plateā which was cheaper than registering a truck. A Ranchero or El Camino was considered a truck and had to be licensed as such. Made absolutely no sense...
I was driving through Toledo week before last and there was a Gladiator and a JL parked next to the Jeep sign. There was too much traffic for me to try and take a picture.
Perhaps someone local in Toledo can post a snap!
