My JT is driven every day so I do not have a battery tender on it. I do run one on my F250 and my TJ. If you hook it up to the main battery it should charge both batteries.
I had my 4th wave service today at 32,000. No charge, paper work states Warranty wave service, amount due $0.00. I have had three different dealers service my JT and no charge for wave service. My dealer did note on paperwork today," next service recommends air and cabin filters change."
I am out of state at this time, don't my JT with me at this time. The inverter is from West Marine. Easy install, removed the seat cut out the carpet. Mounted the inverter where the AC duct blows across the cooling fins. Wired to auxiliary switch. I used the same gage wire that was on the...
The 120 volt inverter is a 400 watt non sinewave inverter. Most electronics recommend a pure sinewave inverter. I added a 1000 watt pure sinewave inverter for under $200 to my 20 Sport S it is a easy install and has way more power.
I have a Ramsey 9500 on my 03 F250 installed the winch in04. The winch is faded but still works like new. When I get a winch for my TJ if I get synthetic bable I will get a cover, other wise will not worry about it.
I have the Quadratec holder also. In a impact the door would keep it blocked in place. It may be more of a issue with out doors or aftermarket tube doors. Looking at my D cell Maglite it doesn't apear to have clearance to move forward in to the driver's footwell.
I have a Sport S, the tires and wheels were replaced with a Rubicon take off set. My highway ride is fine. A couple of times a month I do a 600 mile round trip and I am happy with the ride. I plain on replacing my shocks at some time, however I will run the stock ones until they need replacing.
My Falken AT3s have 32K on them and they have not changed nose levels since new. All around the best AT tires I have ever owned. Good ride on road grip in sand and mud.
My grandfather bought all his tires from a small shop in Anniston Al. When they closed in the mid 70's he was very unhappy. Next set of tires he got was a new set of Firestones and he said they did not ride as well as recaps that were already broken in. The oil issues in the mid 70's closed...
My grandfather was a long hall trucker Atlanta to LA one round trip a week. He was a firm believer in recaps. When he could not get them for his personal vehicles he thought it was a plot to make ,more money for the tire companies.
Ok I'm also close to 70, I bought a lot of my tires at OK rubber welders in the day. Yes that was a chain of tire recap stores in the 60s. When I was in HS the gas station I worked at ( a Texaco) sold a lot of re-refined motor oil for 20 cents a quart.
