  1. Ready-made L-track bed system from Mac's custom tie downs

It all just depends on how you're loading them. In certain load cases, yes they will nearly double if properly sharing loads. But I made plenty of my own assumptions and didn't really lay those out. Unfortunately I can't sit around and provide free body diagrams for the million different scenarios.
  2. Ready-made L-track bed system from Mac's custom tie downs

Keep in mind the rail is secured with four m6x1.0 fasteners. A 10.9 m6 can take over 3,500lb before a tensile failure. With cargo secured to two rails, there's not really much to worry about. Even a 1,000lb payload can safely survive a 5-10G impact, assuming your rigging is good and can...
  3. Willys or Mojave?

This was my logic, plus the available front trail cam for parking at the mall.
  4. Bed Rails On The Cheap

I do agree its good to consider. However, there are 4 on each rail. M6x1.0 10.9 tensile strength is around 3,500lbf. (with sufficient threads to avoid pull-out) Using multiple points on two rails, you could have the entire payload rating with a significant shock load and still be okay. Just be...
  5. Bed Rails On The Cheap

It’s nice because it’s a common standard. Many accessories for it, and you get a physical locked position that can’t slide. It would be fun to get it anodized to match.
  6. Lots are mostly empty of new vehicles!

I had a few Jeep salesmen try to tell me ordering would take several months. Yet....the Jeep chat rep specifically told me the Gladiator assembly plant is not currently impacted by the chip shortage. 8 days after I ordered, the truck was built and in inspection already.
  7. Bed Rails On The Cheap

In aircraft, we have a modular track system that works really well. I'll probably try to fit something similar. Search McMaster for "L-Track" https://www.mcmaster.com/39695T41/ https://www.uscargocontrol.com/collections/aircraft-style-seat-l-track...
  8. Anyone use this button?

BMW has something similar called Hill Decent Control. Really useful for long stretches of super steep declines.
  9. 2021 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

I waited to buy a 2021, and Gator was discontinued. Still really bummed out about that. Settled for Sarge Green.
  10. 2021 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

I haven’t been following the gladiator very long. Were these colors announced at some point?
  11. Gladiator Rubicon - Sarge Green w/ Tan Leather Interior

Looks great!! I’m still upset they don’t offer the saddle brown on the Mojave. I ended up ordering sarge green with the steel grey
  12. I'm gonna go ahead and ask this......

It will depend on your market. In SoCal, tire shops might give $1k for a full set of 5 wheels and tires from a JL rubicon, because they sell quickly in this region.

  14. ISO: Steel Spare Wheels

It seems everyone claims that’s because the aluminum set are different. I have yet to see any part numbers to suggest otherwise. If anyone has a Mojave and would like to help, pull it down. It’s PN is right on the face of the wheel.
  15. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

I'll second this request. I like this bumper, great looking truck
