The aluminum will still be a raw metal color (silver looking). The iron boxes are painted black. I think you'll only find the aluminum ones on 2020's. Someone can correct me on that. It wasn't long after they went to the iron boxes.

To be fair, I don't wheel much, and there is very little mud here in the urban sprawl of the greater BR/New Orleans area (and no snow muck) so it's not like I have to clean away pounds of ick to find a problem. It's pretty much lay on the ground and look up and go 'Yep, that's effed'.

This, I do (well not the bath part) but everything I own does get thoroughly looked over top and bottom, even if it's not clean when it happens 😄

Off the top of my head, I think light mounts that go on the cowl area are different (the cowl panel is taller), and the shocks uses different bolts at the bottom - so lift kits and accessories for a Mojave differ slightly from other Gladiators.

They had little choice on the wiring, since they had to lift the entire body off 😄 But I know what you're saying. When you're tens of thousands of dollars into something like that, you expect some pretty good attention to things.

Not gonna lie, I haven't cleaned under the hood of my Gladiator the entire time I've owned it (a little over three years, 36K miles). The truck as a whole is lucky to get washed every three months sometimes. The interior more often, since I spend time in there 😄
