I'm not home from deployment till mid August, so if this status is correct It may have to sit at the dealership for a while. Unless my wife insists on driving it around for a little while.
So I just walked over to my MA'S rep to ask if my JS status was legit, he wasn't even tracking a build date. I just got this email from him
"Great news man, it is indeed built and completed production yesterday. I’ve requested it to be moving straight away. Don’t see any issue with having this...
I waffled for a bit on my order, but decided the $2500 ish upgrade price from the base model stereo to the 7 inch(Forced tech package) and the $1300 Alpine speaker upgrade for a total of $3800 bucks was a bridge to far.
I plan on putting that same $3800 towards a professional install of...
I placed my order with MAS sometime in early April I believe, when it got submitted to Jeep I cannot say for sure, probably shortly after the Ordering banks opened in early May.
Hoping Affiliate pricing comes online for Gladiator soon so I can squeeze a little bit more out of incentives/bonus...
I checked in with jeep chat for status today, first time btw. I'm convinced it's causing many undue stress, so I've avoided it. However, my Red sport s, manual, premium top is apparently in js status. I'm not holding my breath that this is correct until it ships.
But, seems I'm in the same...
Very nice to see another Sport S w/ soft top in the mix. (waiting on mine). Are those the rubicon wheels and what tires? Dealer set you up with those? After seeing folks adding those wheels, I'm wanting to do the same.
I would take that deal for sure. Some are selling the wheels and tires alone for that. I will keep this deal in my pocket for when I take delivery if the dealers wants to sell some upgrades.
I'm excited to see how your wheel upgrade looks. I'm not much for lifts or tires, but a beefier look for reasonable cost is def enticing to me.
I'm sure you will post after photos and perhaps share your cost if you would be so kind?
I wonder if being able to check your build status (however accurate or inaccurate) mentally does more harm than good. It's like a very expensive and less accurate version of the Dominoes Pizza Tracker.
WTF do you mean my pizza is back at store being "rebaked" after it was in delivery status...
Is this photo outside of Manitou? Looks like that area near the fishing place and the brewery.
Sorry, this has been bugging me. I'm in the springs a few times a year
Strange they are doing this on vehicles that presumably haven't been painted yet. That would indicate they have an issue they know about with no fix currently.
It would make more sense if they already paint a batch and found the problem and decided to force the liners to correct the issue...
Manual. I've yet to contact jeep cares, my MAS guy is right behind my complex, so I walk right over for updates. I pulled my VIN and delivery date right off his screen, which he says feeds from jeep. So take that for what you will.
No build date, but a delivery date leads me to believe Oct 7...
I remain optimistic that it will be much sooner. I'm leaving theater in mid Aug, a lot can happen in 60 days.
I'll happily keep waiting at home with a cold one in my hand while saving more money for the epic stereo I'm researching all day everyday.
So it looks like my Sport S M/T Firecracker Red has a VIN, but no build date, w/ Oct 7 deliver date now. I think this is D status? Anyone else in this boat?
You'll be looking for Military Auto Source rep at the exchange. Couple of us on here have orders in with them. Below invoice stateside will most likely be better deal with Travis at Tri City, especially if your local. PM me if you want more info about MAS.
