I will be home mid Aug and have a delivery date that is now into Oct for Sport S w/ manual trans, So I feel your pain.
I can offer no advise on the snorkel, but I'm in a similar boat as to the delivery date and using MAS here are my thoughts.
You can probably walk on to a lot in July and get a...
Late check in here,
MT, Firecracker Red, Sport S w/ Premium soft top(Dealer threw in to avoid delay)
Waiting like the rest. Anyone else get word of a window tint delay? I got a heads up from my guy, but nothing official yet.
Just got word from my sales rep that Jeep is about to delay orders with window tint, which would be every jeep except the Sport model.
I'll update as I hear anything, but unlike the bedliners, I'm not sure jeep would complete and ship trucks without tint and have the dealers handle it, maybe I...
Nice head unit for sure Jake. A few folks seem hesitant to pull out the factory deck. But it seems to me a maestro data kink and harness will let you keep oem integration. I certainly won't dispute oem looking better and with Bluetooth and car play, there is little reason to upgrade.
But...
The Alpines certainly looks nice and I don't mind some high price stuff if it's worth it. That deck will most likely be $2500-$3000. That's a tad much for me right now, as I plan on new AMP, speakers, sub, etc.
Right now, I'm hoping for $1200-1500 for insane audio deck, if not that then I...
Curious, the website configurator locks you into the additional upgrades and I watched my dealer try and enter the 7 inch group without the additional technology package and it still forced an error.
What model JT are you building? As I understand the 7 inch group on the Overland and Rubicon's...
I'm going to go full aftermarket at this point. $3000 will put in a nasty aftermarket system and still come in a grand cheaper than 7 inch upgrade with Alpine Audio. Hoping the Insane Audio JL unit drops soon, I assume that will be the same unit for the JT. I'll keep post updated or create...
If only they would run out of the 5 inch uconnect and I got free upgrade to 7 inch.
I didn't give the premium cloth a second thought before, but it seems pretty nice.
Spoke with my MAS rep yesterday. My order for a sport s was kicked back for lack of standard soft top availability.
Options were wait it out with no eta on parts or upgrade to hard top or premium.
MA'S resubmitted order with premium soft top. They are also eating the $595 cost out of their...
Does that mean you no longer have the JL or the 5 in? Did you upgrade or get rid of the vehicle?
Looks like the 7in upgrade is closer to $2500, cant bring myself to do that. Unless more incentives drop, that's the cost of an entire aftermarket stereo, sub, speakers and amp.
But upgrading...
I'm currently is the works with MAS. The process has been straight forward and simple, however they are about 1% below invoice and not easily willing to price match until very close to delivery.
I've ordered a Sport S with no other options at this point. There is already a $500 military...
Any issues with deposits or anything like that? Or did you make it that far with MAS?
I think orders can be fully canceled and refunded until a VIN is assigned. I'm still waiting to see if my local dealer has any wiggle room on the same Sport S i'm working with MAS. I can see some...
Whats your purchase timeline? Right now I'm looking at $750 in MAS discounts, nothing in the way of rebates or factory cash. Can any of this be expected on a 2020 model vehicle?
Makes sense. You could also have it delivered closer to you for a few hundred I suppose.
At this point I don't forsee dealer markups going over well on sport models by summer time, So I'm not beholden to MAS if I can save a couple grand and get some options with the extra cash by going with a...
I have yet to take a quote from a stateside dealer to MAS and see what they would do. I'm planning on emailing my quote to my local Jeep dealer to see what they say. I've heard of folks getting them to match with some pestering, but that was some years back.
My MAS guy said they were only...
Well that's not really an issue, because it would seem on the Sport and Sport S, the 7 inch group forces you into the Cold weather package (I live in FL) and the convenience group. So the 7 inch $995 upgrade is actually a $2000 upgrade.
What kind of options and price range does insane audio have currently? Are the units factory compatible with all features?
Sorry to ask, but I cannot access that site on the network I'm on currently.
My MAS sales rep is tracking early may for placing the order with Jeep and Aug Delivery times. However their system said Oct, which I think is simply because they had to pick a date. He thinks that was a place holder. My current paperwork says Aug 21.
It does look rather cheap compared to the rest of the interior. It's a shame, may have to evaluate dropping to sport to make up some ground if I cant live with stereo.
Although, I'm sure Alpine will release a refresh for this model. Rather drop 1200 on aftermarket option than pay extra 1000...
