I'm using one with their 4 tire inflation system. Works fantastic. Takes about 3-4 minutes to go from 24 lbs to 37 lbs in my stock Rubicon 33's. Very happy with it so far.
DEFINITELY looks better. How does it ride? Considering doing the Teraflex level on my Rubicon after adding a heavier Warn front bumper and Winch. I'll probably wait to see how it affects the front end droop, but am concerned about the ride / steering.
Today, I'm having a local high end PPF company pull off the rear fender flares PPF and put on 3M PPF for the rear flares. Covering ALL the paint on the rear flares, not "most" of it like the stock coverage. Costing about $200, but I think worth it as I've already got a bunch of small chips all...
The molar 2" lift will not void your warranty, and I've been told it will drive as well as a stock Rubicon. (Not sure about the driving part as I have not done it yet....)
IMO, incredibly expensive. Even IF billet....
On the practical side, they look like they will/would snag rocks like nobody's business....
But for the step up practicality - cool.
My Rubi came with Gray dash, and at first I was a little disappointed, but I agree with all you guys - over time, the Gray has been so much better. I lucked out!!!
Nice job - BOTH!! Looks very good. BTW, it may not seem like much "on paper" but every 3dB (approx) is doubling the sound level. 6dB is huge in this type of application.
Welcome to the new car anxiety club! Haha!!
"Hi, my name is Bill and I have a brand new 2022 Gladiator that I'm worried about protecting....."
Seriously though, the #1 and #2 protection things I have concluded :
- #1 - Mudflaps. They stopped a HUUUGE amount of crap all over the truck, and...
It should be noted that the pin stripped / scratched PPF looks just as bad (if not worse) than pin stripped / scratched paint. And unless you're willing to pull off the PPF and put on another new layer (now, approaching $15,000), it's going to look like crap anyway.
Again, best thing I've done...
PPF is running between $6-7,000 in AZ where I live. Not gonna happen. I'm doing what I can. Weathertech mud flaps and a new PPF on the rear fender flares where it takes the most abuse. The stock stuff is not good. Beyond that, maybe a ceramic coat. I'm trying to get over the freaking...
Ran across your older thread, but thought I'd reply. I've had multiple ready ramp motorcycle ramp / bed extenders in the past. They are top notch and I'd buy one in a heartbeat if they had a Gladiator model. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, neither of their models will "fit" the Gladiator...
Haha!! Thanks. Yeah, I was locked and in low for the stair steps on the upward trail ascent before the turnaround - not necessarily for the difficult turn-around itself. I've pretty much recovered stress wise at this point. LOL. But now I've gotten my wife stressed out. Haha!
Thanks! Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was now. The stress of being crosswise on a shelf road with the extreme drop-off was definitely messing with my cognitive abilities. That and being new to the Jeep. Cheers,
Ahhhhhh......Yes! THANKS!! That was it do doubt. I was literally inches away from a 7-800 foot drop trying to turn around and extremely stressed, and not thinking entirely clearly. I was in 4 low with front and rear diff's locked, and sway bars disconnected due to the pretty gnarly climbs we...
I was curious if any of you have experienced this noise and (maybe) related power steering issue.
Yesterday I had to back up and then turn around on a single lane (at best) shelf road climbing Sycamore Canyon with a cliff on one side, and almost vertical rise on the other side - due to a very...
I've heard of others with this problem as well. Solution was to try using the USB right on the dash - under the media section. Works perfect for me - so far..... :)
The supercharger would kill it for me as well. Also, a 2020 with a replaced 2022 motor would leave me with a LOT of questions. Any jeep savvy buyer will have questions. The worst thing for a seller is a buyer with a lot of questions. :swear:
Your best bet might be to leave on the bling, and...
