So is that what happened at the end of 2020?? - "a GM engineer said so" ?
But back to the topic at hand. I like to think I keep my tin foil in the drawer (mostly), but I do think there should be a simple way to turn a āfeatureā like this off. Personally I donāt care enough at the moment. But...
I can see their thinking but cutting off the fan is too much. The fan at the 3 setting is very quiet and would still allow some AC to flow. Does anyone know if there a way to turn that āfeatureā off?

Seems like you have a good plan and backup plans. And having a sponsor on board is a real plus. Should provide you added help & support. Boosters can be a bit finicky from what I hear. Curious how it eventually turns out.
You have quite a project going there. Iām awaiting the arrival of a used Digital PowerMax DA4000MR (marine version) to try out. I havenāt met anyone with 1st hand experience which is why I asked. Opinions on the internet are all over the place for boosters. Best of luck.
That rain skirt is a really nice solution to the issue. Between that and the inner gasket Iād say youāll have a good seal. Weāll worth the effort. Iām continually impressed by your ingenuity and craftsmanship.
