I drive a front load trash truck all day and I cannot stand having shit in the windshield or on the dash...other than little ducks in the Jeep...
It’s mystifying how many people (all of them ?) are on their phucking phone texting and driving...
You can see everything from a big truck.
It’s...
Makes sense...
So after installing a 3.5” spring lift, and all the tires are back on... and the truck is sitting on it’s own weight, a guy should crawl under the truck and loosen and retighten the upper and lower control arms and the track bars to eliminate the “stored energy” or binding that...
That’s good to hear. I’ve got a Sport and I’m going to put 315/70/17’s on it. I’m not concerned about mileage, and I live in a relatively flat area. Any hill driving I do on vacations is a moot point. I’ll deal with it.
And the gear benefits of Four Low in the transfer case will be plenty for...

Just put the Reaper Off Road “Gravestone F3” stinger on the front on Sunday. Mainly for deer protection...
Now I have to install the 3.5” RC lift.
That’s going to be me one of the next weekends...
I have a 3.5” rough country spring lift and Core 4x4 front and rear track bars to install. ?
You’ve got a nice looking truck. Mine is white also.
Finally got a chance to install my Reaper Off Road Gravestone F3 stinger bumper.
I figured with the deer running around the bumper will save the grill and radiator, and it’s cheaper than a deductible... ?
A crane. He uses a crane. Well I don’t feel so bad now. ?
I would have got that sucker up there. But holy schit. I don’t need a hernia. ?
I’ll check out maxtrax. Thank you.
I had a local specialty shop tell me the rough country base shocks were junk and the next step up was mildly better.
I opted to get the rough country spring kit with shock extensions to retain the factory shocks.
He advised against the rough country springs...but when money is an issue, I’ll do...
I can only imagine you are built like a brick shithouse...
I cannot fathom what testicular fortitude goes into putting a spare that size, on the roof of your topper/camper.
Wow.
Nice rig. I need to find some of those traction boards. Where do you find such goodness?
As an aside, I don’t think 2” or even 3.5” lifts present too much pinion/driveline angle problems. Yes they change a bit. But I think all will be fine if you aren’t constantly hot rod-ing the truck or being overly rough and aggressive.
Some want that ability. But I think if you take it cautious...
That looks nice. Appears to be 35” tires. They don’t swallow the entire rear wheel well.
I’ve got a set of the mopar side steps on the way. Actually expect them today or tomorrow. I wanted something that bolts up to factory mounting locations, and I’m not concerned with rock rails. My wheeling...
I’ve got the 3.5” rough country spring kit on order. I wanted the spacer kit but the shock relocation brackets aren’t offered with the spacer kit. You have to get their shocks. Nope. So I ordered the spring kit with shock brackets so I can maintain factory shocks. I was going to install a 2” AEV...
In trying to keep components as far off the ground as possible I think I will get control arms over the relocation brackets.
Thank you for the good information.
Glad to see an APEX in the thread. No I haven’t read it all. Started back to front. My lift is on the way. Bumper from Reaper is awaiting shipping. I’m waiting for the APEX to get back in stock locally.
