  1. Weld Off-Road Gladiator Build [SEMA 2019]

They look like Evo Bombers without the rock skins.
  2. What price shenanigans have you seen dealerships do?

It’s required by law to go over it with every customer as to not discriminate. It’s not Walmart it’s a $40000+ transaction. FYI I’ve worked on the sales end at a dealership for over 15 years and after owning a 15 JK and an 18JL without an extended warranty I made sure I purchased one this time...
  3. Metal Cloak vs. Clayton

Thank you. Most control arms I’ve seen don’t accommodate the brake line bracket. Pretty sure mine is in a dumpster somewhere. Guess because the shape of the design is similar to the stock arms the bracket is reusable. This helps.
  4. What price shenanigans have you seen dealerships do?

Dealers do this in metro/large market areas all the time to try and capture non local business. They attract customers with a discount no dealer can match by taking out the destination then in the fine print they add a disclaimer price does not include tax tags and destination. Unfortunately...
  5. Metal Cloak vs. Clayton

I am on your website and it looks like you offer two different control arm sets. One for $1049 (overland+) and one for $1529 (standard kit?) - online it says they both use Giiro joints. What is the difference? Which for a quieter/softer on road ride? Also what's with the little control arm...
  6. Alignment sheet after Mojave AEV lift help

Could the shop had adjusted the control arms to whatever the manufacturer control arm lift/length grid stated without accounting for the changes with the GEO bracket? Like here's what I want installed and they just threw it on by the directions not accounting for the changes being made? Upload...
  7. Alignment sheet after Mojave AEV lift help

I disagree - sounds like he wanted a moderate lift while also trying to keep a stock ride quality and keep the geometry in tact. I have a similar set up and it rides great. People love to knock a spacer lift for being less expensive but it doesn't make it less effective. At least with spacers...
  8. Has anyone disconnected the auto start stop on their Gladiator?

Hahaha most programs at work use caps so when I’m on my work computer caps lock just stays on. I don’t even notice it anymore.
  9. Has anyone disconnected the auto start stop on their Gladiator?

TASER LIGHT WILL DEACTIVATE. GOT USED TO IT ON MY JL HOWEVER I ADDED AN AMPLIFIER TO THE JT AND EVERYTIME IT WOULD CUT OFF OR ON I WOULD LOOSE SOUND OUT OF THE SPEAKERS IT GOT ANNOYING VERY FAST. WITH THE TASER I WAS ALSO ABLE TO CHANGE MY TIRE SIZE, DISCONNECT SEATBELT CHIME (CAN BE DONE...
  10. Hybrid Tires? What are you running?

Had both. Toyo RTs on my jk and jl. Love the tire looks great and super quiet and durable. Only complaint was in wet conditions They were all over the place and I had very little confidence. Went with ridge grapplers on the jt and while very quiet and much better in the rain I kind of regret...
  11. AEV 2" spacer lift for Mojave Gladiator

Same here. they were able to sell just the rear 1.5 spacer it was $59.98 also ordered the new rear track bar bracket they offer. I've considered adding a drive shaft carrier bearing I think I saw where AEV includes it in their lifts. Did you install one?
  12. AEV 2" spacer lift for Mojave Gladiator

I did the EXACT same with my Rubicon. Rides great. Used the TF Alpine front lowers and TF trackbar. Also installed shock relocation brackets (teraflex for front and evo on the rear) Rides great however the rear sits lower than I expected. I plan on getting a TF 1.5 rear spacer and bump stop ext...
