Well, we can’t ALL have large penises.
How else we going to compensate?
But seriously, if I could have a small V-8 with exactly the same HP, TQ and transmission, I would, and run stock exhaust, because I like how it sounds to my ear.
And if it had more HP and TQ, why then, so much the better.
I hope my ’24 Gladiator is a reliable as the 2017 F150 FX4 SCrew 5.0 I traded for it. Only thing I replaced on it was the steering wheel clock spring for $80 off Rock Auto at 110,000
...and in the 2024 manual as well, cause it hain’t there.
For those of you who are more familiar, did any other major specifications change between 2022 and 2024? Because if they didn’t, I would role with the published 2022 specs that @ShadowsPapa posted, but that’s just me.
I shopped Ford, GMC and Chevy (son sells GMC and Chevy), and Toyota. As discussed, all 4 cylinder turbos in the small trucks. Hard pass.
Traded out of my favorite vehicle of all time, Ford F150 SuperCrew 5.0 FX4.
I’m still happy with my decision.
I honestly think they failed to put it in the 2024 manual. But thanks for those specs. I don’t imagine there is a change from your ’22 to my ’24 specs. To get the full paper manual it looks like I can roll with the downloaded pdf, or order hardcopy from Mopar for $50.
I’m used to paying $150...
This is the 2024 Gladiator Owner’s Manual. That table doesn’t appear anywhere I can see. (at least where I think it should be on page 155 or thereabouts.) It could be that old eyeballs are at work...
Thanks for that info. The paper owner’s manual points me to Jeep.com, which instructs me to look under the year model and specs. Didn’t find it there, so followed the owner’s manual link at the bottom of the jeep page and that’s where that blurb came from posted above. The pdf version wouldn’t...
I am searching high and low and can’t seem to find these ratings. The owner’s manual references:
TRAILER TOWING WEIGHTS (MAXIMUM TRAILER WEIGHT RATINGS)
Note:
For trailer towing information (maximum trailer weight ratings) refer to the following website addresses:
www.jeep.com
jeep.ca (Canada)...
I carry a Noco GB40 in all my vehicles, including my Harley. Jumped off a broke down young fella today on his new to him 25 year old Harley in the NC mountains.
I was receiving an alert on a spur of the interstate loop under construction to tell me it was going from three lanes to one, towards the end where you exit. The road has been like that for five years. But the new Jeep needed to tell me. I think it turns off whatever other media you have running...
Not entirely related, but I’m also a motorcycle rider and conventional wisdom is to change tires at 5 years from date of manufacture, regardless of mileage. Clearly, there’s more at stake on two wheels, but I wouldn’t buy tires 2.5 years before I plan to use them, I don’t care where they are...
I worked by myself nearly my whole career. Large corporations paid my fees in a hyper competitive business if I delivered what I was supposed to. By myself.
There was no one but me to send the bill, and collect when it wasn’t paid. And I did. Twenty five years.
If you are unskilled, or semi...
