  1. Jeep brand turnaround plan announced by Stellantis CEO

Watches you say... Amazon. $25 When the battery dies I’ll order another one. Keeps perfect time.
  2. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

So yer sayin’ you're my age, eh? 😀
  3. Hauling Road Glide Special Motorcycle in bed?

I just sold a Road Glide Special. The back wheel will be on the tailgate. I wouldn’t even put it in my F150 with the 5.5’ bed. You’d want something under the back tire that distributes the balance of the 850lbs into the bed.
  4. Any tall owners?

Everybody’s reality is different. I’m 6’3” 220 and traded an F150 Supercrew 4x4 and am very satistfied with my ’24 Gladiator. I wanted a smaller truck. I have sons 6’3” also, so I wanted room in back. Not nearly as roomy as the SuperCrew obviously, but I can get in back with the front seat all...
  5. New to roof top tents

Not my rig. Belongs to friend who was in town for an outdoor event.
  6. Jeep brand turnaround plan announced by Stellantis CEO

I was shopping to trade my F150 4x4 for a small 4x4 truck and this is exactly how I ended up in a Gladiator earlier this year.
  7. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

Chicks liked dancing to KC and the Sunshine band.
  8. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

Those were the days. I drove my dad’s ’67 Galaxie with the 390FE on dates because it had air conditioning. Two rich brothers a few blocks away had a GT500 and GT 350, respectively.
  9. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

Best friend had a brand new ’71 455 GTO. Just a three speed, because it didn’t need four. I don’t care what the specs say, it was a torque monster. I had friends in high school with a ’65 GTO, a ’66, two ’67’s, a ’68, and the new ’71. I liked all of them, but that one was the beast. Lest it...

3 years 36k miles bumper to bumper, but recalls are forever.
  11. 2023 Gladiator cluster screen - is this normal?

There’s an open recall on instrument clusters, but I think the failure mode is the circuit board shorting out and the screen going blank.
  12. New Recall NHTSA 24V-652: Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Failure & Replacement (9/5/24)

It was built in January, so I’ll keep an eye out for a letter.
  13. New Recall NHTSA 24V-652: Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Failure & Replacement (9/5/24)

Mine is a ’24 Sport S without the technology package but doesn’t show up when I run the VIN at NHTSA. Their standard language regarding why an affected VIN might not appear, NHTSA says “keep checking”. That said, I’ve only owned it two months from new.
  14. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

I honestly trust none of them any longer. In any field.
  15. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

    The music was GREAT! :)
  16. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

I used to live on a golf course. Lot’s of ICE mowers and blowers in operation all the time. My next door neighbor was a scratch golfer, riding in a gas powered golf cart, on a course maintained with all that ICE equipment. He was also a car guy with a fleet of old Jags, MGs, Austins. Granted, he...
  17. Attention Passengers and Flight Crew, I'm Out

That’s what I said about Chrysler products when I wrenched in school in the ‘70s, but now I drive one.
  18. What quirks, tips, tricks to towing 2,500 lbs total (two touring bikes) cross country.

My riding buddy and I aren’t young. I can do it, but I don’t think he can.
  19. What quirks, tips, tricks to towing 2,500 lbs total (two touring bikes) cross country.

Kendon sells a third chock to put in the center of the trailer that will accommodate this. Reviews suggest it’s not an issue with the two bike trailer, but I wondered same.
