There’s an open recall on instrument clusters, but I think the failure mode is the circuit board shorting out and the screen going blank.

This is the way its supposed to look far as I know ? Mine is more noticeable on the 8.4 screen though ,I think. I forget what jeep called it ? 2022 OverLand. Mine also looks more grayer but could just be your pic

They all look like that, it’s one of the backgrounds on the screen selection. I think mine has an angry wolf or something like that on the 8.4 and the rough terrain on the dash.

Yes researched it and you can change themes on your 8.4 screen to like 11 different themes. Wow, , 2 years and just finding this !!

I don’t know what exactly OP is referring to in those pictures… Like others have mentioned, that should just be a setting for the “theme“ display setting in factory radio.

Referring to the background on the 3.5" screen. Maybe @KYMISTWALKER wanted it a solid color?
