6,200 miles.
The noise is a very uniform electronic buzz from outside the cabin. The buzz is a specific duration (1.5 seconds maybe) that doesnāt change. It is only noticeable when in a drive through with a wall that the sound reflects off of. Not loud, but very distinct with the window down...
I should have paid more attention to the pics at the Nxtgen website. I think I have mine mounted about where theirās are pictured now. I mounted mine forward a couple of inches to begin with thinking thatās where my big feet wanted to be, but after getting it all buttoned up and trying it out I...
Will do.
My four year old granddaughter likes me to put her in the bed of the Glad to play and watch the street for the neighbors walking their dogs. Sheās on a first name basis with ALL the neighbor dogs. . Sheās tall for her age and soon to be 5. Last week she just climbed into the bed by...
All you folks from Oklahoma to North Carolina, tighten up your bra straps.
This is how we do it in NC. Take notes. š
Raleigh NC - 2014
I think we are going to have a repeat performance.
5.0 Coyote option in a 2025 Ford truck is $2500. I traded out of a 2017 XLT FX4 5.0 to get in my previous Gladiator.
Iād be tempted, but having bought a 2024 Sport S new, and traded it for a 2025 Rubicon new, it would be one of my dumber financial decisions.
Itās all paid for, but still.
Iām not giving up on V8s.
My first one. ā67 390 FE Dad bought new. I bought it from him in ā74 and beat the crap out of it in the mountains of NC.
A couple of other recents-
ā92 5.0 Mustang
ā04 SVT Cobra
But my favorite, 2017 Ford truck with a Coyote
So Iām not done with V8s just yet...
Finally found the setting in Google maps on my phone.

I have no idea how that got changed because I sure as heck didnāt do it.
I now have my blue arrow back.
Good point. Back in the 70ās I had a buddy with a Porsche that was over charging the battery. Smelled like cheese eggs. And that was while we were inside, driving, with the battery behind us in the engine bay (914).
25 years ago Buick (and I expect other GM) put batteries under the back seat of their sedans, and it wasnāt that hard to pop the back seat bottom loose. Theyād definitely be cooler.
I think the only available nav for my ā24 Sport S and the ā25 Rubicon is to run Carplay or Android Auto, as far as I know.
I did turn off the āNorth Upā setting, which is different from what I have been accustom to running on multiple vehicles, BUT, it does resolve the primary issue that was...
Not that I know of. But Iām pretty sure my maps have always been set to "keep map northā, on a 2017 Ford truck, two Gladiators, ā24, and ā25, a ā24 Subaru, and two late model Harleyās with Nav.
But I will check that out.
See the thing is, I didnāt make the change. One day I got in, Carplay came up as usual, and the Google maps arrow had changed to the red vehicle you see below in the pic I posted. You canāt tell which direction itās moving on the map at lower speeds unless you stare at it. That pic below is...
