  1. Gladiator specific cross bars & bed racks now available!

Sweet! Are you you going to add it as an additional option on the page? I’ll probably be ordering once I can get this piece with it. Factory cover is just too nice to give up.
  2. BUMPERS!

I want to say you’re looking at about 80lbs for a winch, so that and the Arcus put you within what you’re comfortable looking to add. This is my first time having one but I’ve had times on other trucks I wish it had been there. Mostly for moving downed trees after a storm in a somewhat...
  3. BUMPERS!

I think mopar stubby is a good option, Arcus would look strange without the winch in my opinion. You can likely find a full steel takeoff for sale also, and just take the caps off to have it be stubby I think the Arcus was like 70lbs
  4. BUMPERS!

https://www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/arcus-front-stubby-bumper-overrider-jeep-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt Liking the Rugged Ridge Arcus. Haven’t put the overrider bar on it but it’s the same price with or without it, so I figured I’d keep the option. Works great as it is with the trail cam...
  5. Steering

Reducing tire pressure incrementally and installing an aftermarket adjustable steering dampener helped my Rubicon settle down on the steering issues. Had a lot of wandering and bump steering initially, over-inflated tires were the worst for the bump-steering. I feel like the dampener helps...
  6. Venting

This all blows man. Sorry you had to go through all that. If they don’t make good on the tires try not to let it wreck your day, the ATs that come on the Rubicon look sweet, sounds like an excuse to upgrade and sell the takeoffs if you don’t like them?
  7. Adaptive Cruise Control/ Forward Collision yes-no

All I can say for sure is that there aren’t any sensors in the bumper, and the camera is behind the windshield (but not attached to the glass when it folds down). It’s not available on the manual transmission so I wouldn’t expect it to work if you swapped away from the original one. You can...
  8. Rock rails? Side step?

Check the member market place for someone taking off the rubicon rock rails, probably cheapest option.
  9. Adaptive Cruise Control/ Forward Collision yes-no

Big yes from me. I don’t like relying on a single point of failure when it comes to safety if I can avoid it, and people are likely to be that point. I still drive like it’s not there for sudden slow-downs, but the ACC takes so much of the fiddling about out of highway driving, especially if...
  10. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

At a glance they seem to have a lot of the same features. The Tazer has been a little buggy about over-riding the sway bar disconnect but so far seems nice, and they seem to update it frequently. It looks like Flashcal has you use their device to control settings? With Tazer you do...
  11. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

Haha right? I’m not sure why I’m bothering tip-toeing around pointing out that they screwed up on the internet. Got too use to trying to make sure I’m not stepping on anyone’s feelings when they mess up in work life. Anyways, I’m registering about 16mpg now 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grappler...
  12. Odometer tracking off after speedo reprogrammed

Just wanted to toss this out in case someone ran across a similar issue. When I took delivery of my LE I had the dealer put 35’s on it and asked to make sure they recalibrated the speedo. The speedometer read true to GPS comparisons, but the odometer was tracking 6% lower than GPS trackers or...
  13. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

Quick follow up, after recalibrating with the Tazer: It fixed my odometer tracking off. Speedo still matches gps, and now the odometer does too, as opposed to reading 6% fewer miles. Not sure why that didn’t get reprogrammed when the dealer redid the speedo for 35’s.
  14. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

Yeah I didn’t really do enough research on them. They were the easy option with the dealer and I found a couple posts about them where people didn’t have issues and called it good. I’ll probably run them until I throw on something else for winter, then decide to keep or sell them in the spring.
  15. Rock Rails Thread

Can attest that the rugged ridge ones give good coverage. If you’ve got the OEM slush mats the sill guard covers right up to them.
  16. Took Delivery of Your JT? Sign in Here!

Picked up mine on 8/22 I was trying hard to find one in Black that fit my bill, but ended up coming across a Launch Edition at a nearbyish dealer. Got them to set it up on 35s out the door for for cheapish, which made up somewhat for their unwillingness to budge on msrp. I’m sure there were...
  17. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

https://www.zautomotive.com/product/tazer-jl-mini/ This seems to be the one to buy. They make a light version for a bit less with fewer features. Mini seems to be preferred over the full size, and I haven’t been able to find a disadvantage to it.
  18. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

I don’t think that too terrible for overall, if it’s a lot of stop and go. The getting going and idling Thanks for the info! So I did have the dealer recalibrate the speedo when they put the tires on. I checked it vs a couple gps speedo apps and they match, however I noticed that the gps...
  19. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

Yikes, is that overall average or just what you’re getting on the highway?
  20. Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.5x17 fuel economy

Yeah see that’s about what I’d think we’d average with MTs. At first I figured it was just that I was going to have to stop going 80mph everywhere, which isn’t really an enjoyable speed anyways, but even babying it I’m still feeling like somethings not right.
