PS: Well shit, I didn't catch that you already had new ones coming. Yup, just bolt them up and drive.
can't answer for the jeep specifically but kevman is correct that the computer is using some algorithms and can be based on several things. Only the software engineers could explain what all.
Most of the engines I have dealt with calculate off pounds of fuel burnt. Makes sense, higher...
no, but when a tru trac (aka torsion) diff comes out I will have one.
I have had clutch type limited slips, Detroit lockers, electric lockers and Torsen diffs. The torsen was always operationally invisible until you needed it with no effect that I noticed on driving or making the vehicle push...
I have had CJ's in the past and they handled like shopping carts compared to the newer generation. Owned several pickups, the last two being a 2004 tacoma and a 2012 tundra. The tacoma you DID NOT drive on an icy road without 4wd engaged, it would swap ends in a heartbeat. The tundra with...
Before I bought my sport s I test drove a Rubicon and it had some drift to it. At the time I chalked it up to new aggressive tread tires causing it to wander. When I test drove the Sport it handled like a Maserati. I installed 35's last weekend expecting it to wander a bit but it did not. Still...
1951 Willys station wagon
77 CJ5 Renegade with the "Levis" interior
82 (I think) CJ7. Installed a 6 cyl Nissan industrial turbo diesel in this one Shouldn't have ever sold it. Guy said name your price and I did.
2020 Gladiator sport S
oops, forgot the 1978 J10 pickup

The key fob is one of my only gripes. When the dealer handed me this thing I ask them what else it did. I was expecting a knife, pair of scissors or maybe a survival kit to be revealed. I have a Leatherman with screwdrivers that's not much bigger.
Put this thing on an 18" lanyard and you have...
Those are wheel vintaqes jw smoothie. Got them from Summit racing. Hold your breath on the price...they must be made out of smelted moon rocks, but it was the look I wanted. Saved big dollars on the tires which helped even it out.
They look great without the baby moons too. You will need...
17x8 wheel vintiques JW steelies with Kenda 10.50x35's. Installed a terraflex leveling kit this morning and got the new shoes installed. Tread sets even with edge of fender. I kinda like the tall skinny look on my max tow.
Going for a retro look. more to come. Got to get the new bumper painted...
installed mine today on 17x8 steelies. On Max tow with leveling kit. Drove super, no highway noise but they weight is noticeable...especially with the steel wheels. Going full retro on this truck.
I probably will, I am looking at the motorcycle wheel chock that US cargo sells. It uses a special size but short track. Probably put that in 1st then the other pieces as I see a need.
I got to use this setup this week and it blows away the last setup I had in my Tunrda.
