So wondering if any of you out there have used the Sunrider as sort of a Bimini shade cover for the front seats only in conjunction with having the hardtop removed? I was thinking about just buying the new Bestop safari top, or the Mopar option as I love running top less and door-less all...
Added the Mopar lift and 37” Nitto’s. For me I think the JT just needs a little more to get the proportions right. Once lifted it becomes gorgeous, but admittedly beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Well I'm happy to say that our Gladiator has far more capabilities than its owners. The family decided our first off-roading adventure would be Marblehead trail on Drummond Island. We found out quickly why it is one of the Jeep Badge of Honor trails! We are admittedly rookies and went out by...
Okay, this is probably the most trivial question ever, but where did you guys put your ORV stickers on your Gladiator? I've seen front windshield, back windshield, and tailgate. Just curious if there was some unwritten or written rule when it comes to this critical exterior mod lol.
Ruby because I think this truck needs a little extra umph to go from lookin good, to looking great. Although I think a set of wheels/37's/lift make them all look the way they should come from the factory. I get keeping it stock though, these are all awesome trucks. The thing that is most...
Just this weekend I got to check out the brand new $100k + Cadillac Escalade, and damn it is really nice. The first thing I thought though, is I would take my Gladiator "Freyja" any day of the week unless I was driving 50,000 miles a year.
My list of upgrades to a loaded black LE include: (in...
I wish MOPAR offered a real mirror(s) that would bolt onto my tube doors that they sell. I pulled doors off a month ago and slapped those on a freaking love it! I have an LE lifted on 37's with every optional doodad that can go on these things, so I'm pretty satisfied option wise. Oh, it...
Guys I’m talking from a purely financial perspective, There are countless posts I’ve read on this forum discussing how they are buying a new vehicle for $40k-$50k but financing it for 6 years and don’t have that much in retirement savings let alone cash in the bank to pay for it. Granted there...
Purchasing a new vehicle is the single greatest destructor of wealth there is. Definitely buy a lightly used vehicle if the dollars are a concern. I agree the Gladiator is over priced, I actually think the base models look a little silly and would get a Tacoma or Colorado if that was what I...
Not that I would recommend it for long distances but we dropped the MasterCraft in the water. Fully gassed up with the trailer I’d guess 7700 pounds, I was super cautious, only had to go 2 miles but with the truck lifted on 37’s it’s not an optimal tow rig, but handled the task just fine.
How often have you folded the windshield down? I've done it 2 times, fun when you are going under 20MPH or slower, I don't enjoy it otherwise. I could see out on a slow trail it being nice, I can relocate my lights in about 10 minutes to the side if I ever decide its necessary again. Or we...
For what it is worth I've gotten 16.9MPG average for the 4,100 miles I've driven my LE with the Mopar lift running 37" Ridge Grapplers (still running the factory LE rims). This is pretty much exclusively in town driving. I did a 300 mile round trip here in Michigan last week, very flat, and...
I purchased the Mopar doors when I got the vehicle since I received 25% off at the time. Have yet to put time on but I am excited to do so. I think they look the best, but that's me. What I really want now are the vinyl skins the zip around them that I saw on a couple of SEMA YouTube videos...
