I used one in my 2000 TJ and did not take long to realize they were junk...overpriced...snake oil. Since then I have stuck with OEM or "OEMlike" aftermarket. Change them every oil change.

Yeah, I have the hard cover. Just measured and it would definitely be too tall.

Hmm, I have been thinking of getting a electric cooler to put in the bed on road trips. I have Mopar Hard Tonneau cover so would have to fit under that. Able to be powered off outlet in bed. It will only be used occasional so I can't see spending the $$$ Dometic or Arb. Hopefully can...

Mine works in the parking lot at work. Nowhere else I go. Very odd. Thou not worth dealing with dealer unless I have to take truck in for something else.

A llittle of both. Due to Sunrider rail...the grab handle had to go on reverse direction than what instructions say. e.g arrow to front instead of back. The front bungie loop from the shade had to be undone then reattached after grab handle was on. Neither was big deal.

Installed GCPA GP-Grip grab hanldes. Not 100% compatible with my Sunshade/Sunrider setup but I was able to make it work.

For me its more about the times I end up sitting at a traffic light, etc....in the middle of July in Florida....that is just brutal ... Going down the road with the wind, etc totally open is fine. The mesh screen sorta gives best of both worlds...you still get the wind...you still get he open...

I am happy with the SpiderWebShade. Not sure a retractable one would be something I would want.

That is odd. The rebate form I printed out last week had the Twill listed on the $200. But yeah, now if i go and look at the Bestop website its only the $100. I guess I shall see, mailed mine in yesterday. Bestop rep even mentioned in a recent post...

So far so good. Drove in heavy thunderstorm the other afternoon and not a single sign of leakage. FYI I am in Orlando :)

Yes, that is the exact one I got. Twill Sunrider for Hardtop JL/JT.

No. ..not really...there is enough gap to be able to use the latches. It does however interfere with being able raise/lower the sunrider without reaching out thru window. Not really big deal thou.

Curious if anyone is using grab handles with the Sunrider for hardtop? I have been looking at something like GPCA GP-Grip PRO But form the pics, I don't think it will work?
