In my experience they all suck. When I was looking to buy, I spoke to everyone within 100 miles of me in Northern California. None of them would budge in most wanted over MSRP.
Ordered one the exact way I wanted it and got it for wayyyyyy under MSRP and under invoice. Took a weekend, and flew...
Went with an ARB air locker. I just have the compressor running off of one of the aux switches and the locker running off another one. Actually works out nice because then if I want I can run just the front locker without the rear locker.
I made my own version. Added a front locker when I had the gears redone. Apex AutoLynx disconnects. Sometimes I think it might be nice to have the extra low transfer case but realistically I’ve never needed it.
I met him when he came to fix my TJ on hells revenge. Great guy. Went above and beyond for me. Bought some swag from him and even went back and gave him and his guys $60 for lunch.
I did re-gear to 5.13s.
If I were you, I would drive it on 37s for a bit and see how you feel about it. Honestly, the auto transmission in this jeep is really good and really can handle the 37s adequately in most cases.
I had it done by a spot in Sacramento. I forget name of it, I would have...
I use you guys for almost everything. In fact, just ordered a bunch of Johnny joints for my TJ.
It’s nice to see a company that really takes care of its customers
Swapped out the Mojave plastic bumper for a takeoff Rubicon steel bumper
I would’ve liked a nice aftermarket, low profile, high clearance bumper.
But this was 1/20 the price ($75!) and everything bolted right over.
I purchased mine from Idaho, and drove it home to California. Wouldn’t pass smog either. Hooked up a reader to it on my tablet and drove around for a while until all the cycles and tests were complete.
Took a lot of driving. Was kind of a pain in the butt.
