It hasn’t found the solution but I feel many have wondered why their volume was doing weird things.
I think, this figured out why it’s doing the weird “seemingly inconsistent” volume behavior.
I’ve never had a vehicle that did this dramatic volume adjustment. I could easily blow the speakers...
So maybe this is well known the the Uconnect headunits (at least without premium alpine audio) 100% is limiting volume.
I’m guessing to protect components or limit draw from the head unit. This is why people are having weird volume issues.
One song may be nice and loud at 30(volume level)...
So I had my first audio weirdness with the Gladiator.
I was listening to a track with some decently low bass and noticed every time the bass hit, the volume for everything else would go lower by probably half; was very noticeable.
Anyone else have this going on? I checked all the settings and...
I'm all about the KISS method, that being said I'm currently not hauling a ton of stuff but having a bag for the more "extreme" supplies may be better like the Fire Extinguisher.
All things considered most of the stuff is small and compact enough to fit in one small bin or bag. I still drive...
Hello all!
Not sure if such a thread exists but I wanted to get a cohesive collection of "Must Have" items for the Gladiator.
This isn't a mod list but more along the lines of emergency or daily use things.
For example: Jumper Cables, Tow Strap, First Aid Kit, Foil Blanket, Lighter, Small...
Sorry for the delay on the response. It's the MateMax tonneau cover for the Chevy Colorado. There was one for sale that was used at $115. New they run $179.99.

Like this stuff? Almost wouldn't have to paint it either, though that might not math very well.
Is there a downside in terms of available...
I'm planning to do a DIY for Trail Rails and am debating between Unistrut and L-Track.
I realize the L-Track is a bit more expensive, BUT it seems it may accept a bed rail type of tonneau cover better than the unistrut because it is lower profile.
I'm wondering if anyone has any...
leasehackr.com use their calculator to get your deal sorted out. Try to get under invoice pricing on the Jeep and then decide if you want to put anything down....which generally isn't recommended for leases but I did it for mine.
Since we have a bunch of other fun threads like this, I figured a homemade product thread would be cool.
I'm a hobbyist blacksmith and have access to lumber and a 3d printer so I'm trying to think of things I can make for the Gladiator.
I'm thinking maybe some kind of cargo organizer for the...
My first Jeep love. Got this probably 7-8 years ago. Was in totally different shape. After a bunch of work it was my daily for about two years.
Eventually my father and I decided on a rebuild as it was overheating(fan too small) and was mowing through starters. Of course that rebuild grew and...
Rolled the dice and ordered a used roll up tonneau cover from Tyger for $115. Days it may be missing some hardware so we shall see! I’m hoping it’s just the weatherstrip. If too much is missing I’ll just return it.
fingers crossed! Really didn’t want to spend much since the Jeep is a Lease.
