I dont have engineering data on the change. The bulletin originally came out April 2023 and basically says when replacing pads use this new number along with new rotors (the numbers vary based on the application). Perhaps the friction material changed and or the pad to rotor mating area. - Benny

So the only problem is that the pad and rotor design changed from original. If you need to purchase a new set of pads you will also need new rotors. Just a bit of an FYI but im not entirely certain those clips will fit the old pad design. - Benny
