How do you like the magnuson? I’m waiting for my VIN on my custom order to be able to get a second ECM to have it unlocked and flashed at the shop I’m getting my mag installed at. (Limited time in area for installation hence the second ECM to expedite process)
Order is good, waiting for jeep. MAS has been good where I am at and flexible (3 full changes on gladiator) finally done monkeying around. I’m now only waiting for jeep to accept order and give vin, looking to get it in a week or so. The process has been smooth aside from my changing it lol.

looking forward to your review. I am still strongly leaning towards the magnuson for a few reasons. when I do get a SC it will be installed in April.
Hi all, currently looking into supercharging my JTR, currently I am looking at the Magnuson and this will most likely be my choice, however I know a few others have chosen R.I.P.P. and Hamburger's as well. just wondering if it was a preference, sticking with what brand you had on a prior vehicle...
whish it still came in Gobi or Light Brownstone, Tan, Forrest Green, Dark Brown ect. the earth tones on this truck look great. would like to see them in the pearl coat or preferable flat coats. just my opinion.
HI, well I have ordered a Rubicon. however, both are very nice and very capable. the reason I decided on the Rubicon is it works best for me and how I drive. I am upgrading from a Toyota Tacoma, and I have gotten into some areas that I really wish I had lockers. I don't do speed off roading. I...
thanks, I don't tow often just like having the ability to do so when I need to, like a uhaul trailer utility trailer ect. I don't have a camper or anything. all my hunting, camping ect, is with a ground tent, so I just pack everything in the truck. sounds like having the 4:10's wont be to bad...
Hi all,
so everything I have read so far, id feel comfortable running 37's on 4:10 gears (also plans to add magnuson supercharger anyway). however have any of you towed anything with the 37"s and 4:10? how is that performance?
one last question: has anyone fit a Falken MT 37 under the truck?
so my initial assumptions about gear selection was accurate, can select 2H, 4H Auto (like all wheel drive), 4H part time and 4L part time.
Still waiting on confirmation of engagement, is it all clutch/viscus or a combination of chain, planetary gear and clutch/viscus.
looking at the mopar...
LOL, it is on order with deposit, build has not started due to delivery date. ordered through military auto source lol. I can change the order up to the day before building.
so I am still searching for more information on the Rock-trac full time t-case. from what I have gathered so far my current assumptions (based on things I have found and its hard) I have come to the following conclusions about this option:
1) Selectable 2h, 4w full time, 4w lo, 4w hi part time...
thanks for the clarification, do you know if it changes the joints on the front axle? some have speculated it changes the U joints to CV joints, do you happen to know? thanks Moonridge.
I was on the same line of thinking, the way the description is, it seems to act like a All Wheel Drive system, moving from two to four wheels when slippage is detected. again still confused on the rubicon rock trac system.
So I have a JTR currently on order, I have not finalized the order yet. I have been trying to find more information on the 4:1 rock-trac T-case. i am new to the Jeep 4x4 systems as this will be my first Jeep. (sold my Taco) the type of wheeling I plan on doing with the truck involves mud, snow...
Hay bud, how is the magnuson? I have a JTR currently on order, and I have been seriously considering the mag for a while, trying to get it done within a few weeks of receiving my JTR I want it installed on the motor while its still new.
I have read through this thread and there is a lot of good information about more technical aspects of winching. I appreciate everyone sharing, and I have a small contribution as well, I am more of a visual kinda guy and hope this helps someone out as well.
When I first started researching the Gladiator last year I emailed Jeep Customer service about this exact question here is their response:
I appreciate the time and effort taken to contact the Jeep Information Center. Congratulations on your recent order of your new 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon...
