Haven't we imported enough goodies from China already this year? I'll pay a little more to not support an authoritarian regime that steals our trade secrets and jobs, exports cheap crap and viruses, and actively seeks to hack into our sensitive networks.
These are important considerations, but I would consider the following:
1) what accessories? Mopar hasn’t come out with much yet that’s particularly compelling or better than can be found elsewhere
2) the Uni-strut rails have plenty of commonly available hardware (like strut nuts) that are...
Just pulled the trigger on this cover, largely based on your positive review. You should get a commission. Amazon has these right now for about $130 off (price seems to change daily), and Rugged Ridge has a $100 rebate if purchased by the end of Feb, so the time was right!
Can anyone verify is their stuff is actually made in the USA, or if they just use the GearAmerica name to give that impression.

Final cost is ~$16 each.
Until BRI comes up with a cargo tie down solution for these rails, here's the solution I came up with. EVERYTHING is made in USA. Eye bolts have 1,300 lb capacity (something else would break first). The 2" square washers are stainless steel (i will get around to painting them). The locking...
Thanks for the pictures and your thoughts, Reeb. I agree this cover looks great, and is on my short list.
I’ve read lots of negative reviews, though, about how this cover doesn’t fit the gladiator bed correctly. Or doesn’t sit cleanly near the cab. Not clear if those are new to install errors...
My exact situation and thoughts as well. I am overly focused on MPG in my mostly stock Rubicon, and average 15.8 - 16.1 in mostly mixed / suburban-ish driving.
Anyone have the Rugged Ridge Armis Soft Rolling cover? I’d like a cover I can completely roll out of the way, but am curious about fit & finish and wind flapping at highway speed.
