Depends on your intentions. If you don't plan on towing then it would benefit but if you do plan on towing then I would leave the rake to compensate for the squatting the trailer causes.
My max will be $40k for a base Sport that only has these options:
Auto trans
Max tow package
Bed cover
Bed liner
LSD rear
If it will be more than $40k then instead of getting a single JT that would hit 2 birds with 1 stone I will probably end up getting 2 vehicles: a used 2-3 year old Ram (one...
Yes. That is what I was thinking. I know they would never put the hemi in there due to its size (mainly the width) and its weight but they need to put some sort of more powerful motor in there.
Wonder if it will have the new jeep 3.0l inline 6 twin turbo that is supposed to be on the way. Supposedly the 3.0 i6 TT will have around the same power as the 5.7 hemi.
That would make the Gladiator fast... Well faster...
Difference between aluminum alloy wheels and steel wheels strength is low. Especially considering that steel wheels tend to have thinner spokes compared to aluminum, it's about the same strength wise. If anything the steel spare will get scratched then rust out.
That works.
Lots of us are here obsessively reading this forum. It is what keeps me sane from buying something else. I have already almost bought a 4runner, JL and couple different Rams. Watching this forum keeps me focused on waiting and getting a JT.
That's smart.
If I wasnt wanting to get into jeeping crawling then I would just not even care about the JT and get a RAM. But since I am interested in getting into jeeping and am also needing to tow my trailer, I am thinking about getting a JT (as long as it isn't too expensive). It would hit...
If it wasn't for the wait I would get an ecodiesel. I occasionally borrow my dad's truck which has the Ecodiesel when I need to tow my camper and I love it; I also just love diesels in general (I'm not a Diesel Technician for no reason).
FCA has already said they are going to going to bring a midsize ram on the future, I figure that they will expand their offerings by bringing back the Dakota or what ever they are going to call it.
Sad truth is that Jeep has said that a different bed and cab configuration will never happen, yes they can change their mind, chances of that is low, FCA is not in the best financial condition so they would rather save money of development costs and lose 5% sales on a truck that will probably...
