I think you are right that it wont be quite 60k but I still think a base Rubicon will be in the low to mid 50s. I think a sport will be starting at about 36-38k.
But I have no backing it's really just a guess.
After browsing the Configurator I think I want:
Sport in blue,
With the 8 speed (dont judge me, lol)
Max tow package,
Bed cover,
Bed liner.
BUT WHERE'S THE DUAL TOP OPTION?
My trailer is 5500 wet. But I prefer to not go more than 85 percent of capacity and I also carry gear so then I subtract 500 then I subtract 300lbs per person. The sport would work to 5,660 lbs based on my criteria but the rubicon would work to 5,150 lbs which is less than my trailers weight so...
I would like to get a rubicon. But I really need the extra 600lbs of towing to tow my trailer. On top of that I don't think I could save up enough for the down payment for a Rubicon by the time just current rig breaks down beyond worth repairing.
So I'm buying a sport.
Know how you feel. I would like to have a Rubicon with an ecodiesel. However I would also like to tow my trailer without borrowing my dad's truck every weekend. So I'm probably getting a sport with the pentastar to get the towing specs I need.
What trim and motor do you plan on getting? Because that can change the tow rating. (Rubicon will have a lower the pounds you can tow because it has softer springs and the ecodiesel will tow less for some reason.)
What @dylanmitchell said is perfect its what I do.
For example:
(I borrow my dads...
I posted this already in a general thread about colors. Often jeeps have the same colors as Dodges but other a different name. For example Stinger gray is the same thing as destroyer grey on a Dodge. I suspect that this new gator color is the same as another color by dodge called F8 green. It...
I'm saving 12-14 K for the down payment for a JT. If the diesel is out by the time I save the money I will definitely getting it. But if it is not out I'm buying a pentastar.
