So the numbers stamped on the diff cover are probably the date the diff was assembled. There should be a pin stamp in the middle of axle tube on the passenger side rear. The last 4 digits of that appear to be another julian date code for axle assembly. I checked mine and the axle assembly date...
I have Rubicon take off wheels and tires on my Sport S diesel. Also have Jeep Performance Parts (Mopar) 2" lift kit I installed myself. They didn't say anything about either of those and told be it will be covered under warranty.

Update: Appointment Thur Sept 9. Service department said they may just replace the seal, but won't know until they actually look at it. If they just replace the seal it will be done that day. If they replace axle then it will have to be ordered and I would be released to drive until it comes in...

Used for both "rock crawling" and hill descent at Jeep Adventure Academy (Windrock Park TN).
When "Korg" gets to the rocks he stops and thinks about it then just crawls right up.
I have the Jtops sun shade. The only question I have is has anyone figured out the easiest way to open/close the freedom panel latches next to the door? Trying to move the latch through the sun shade mesh is just a little awkward.
