Yes, correct - 3 brackets per side. No huge tips other than expect the rails to look odd until you roll the cover down. They do taper towards each other as you get closer to the tailgate. As long as you install the "A" bracket at the "A" location on the railing and do the same with "B" and "C"...

I was in a similar situation and chose the C rated tires because I was afraid of what D or especially E rated would do to the ride. I love how my Jeep rides now and ultimately didn't want to compromise that.
Agree. This will likely be the eventual downfall. As mentioned earlier, most stuff can be replaced and upgraded. Chasing electrical demons can be much more difficult.
One thought on this is that the bed of the Gladiator isn't very deep at 17". For example, a lot of the popular coolers are about this height (think Yeti, etc.). Having a bit more height may be an advantage for you versus a flush mount cover. For the record, I went with the Tyger T1 rollup cover...
