  1. 37s or 35s?

I went with 35's at 1 day old just because I had leftovers from the JK sitting at the house. I knew I wanted 37's before I bought it. JT's just look right with 37's. My biased opinion. Weight matters. A couple of the lightest 37" tires out there are BFG AT's and Mastercraft Courser MXT. They are...
  2. Outside Naked Overnight

I did it once in my TJ. CAT PEE!? Never again.
  3. Wrangler Rubicon bumper on Gladiator Overland

Score! Looks great. I wish my Rubicon came with the steel winch capable bumper. I had to go aftermarket.
  4. Lets see all those Gladiators with lifts and bigger tires!

No rubbing, but could use a little more room in the rear with the factory fender liners still intact. If someone made a 1.5 rear spacer instead of the .75 I have, it would be better. No wheel spacers, they are Quadratec Rubicon Extreme wheels 17x9 with 4.75 BS. I am using Maximus-3 tow bar loops...
  5. How many of you guys run 37s on stock 4.10 gears?

Mine does ok. I see 8th on the flats without a head wind! The Rubi 4:1 transfer case helps a ton off road. On steep PNW trail descents, I still don't have to touch the brakes and I up shift to 2nd often. Not the case with my non-Rubi TJ on 35's. I had to re-gear. It was horrible. If I didn't...
  6. So, what is everybody towing?

Been towing the fat pig 20' V8 powered old 93 boat this year on 37's. I can't really tell the difference from the 35's I had on it last summer.
  7. Mopar lift lower control arms

I am running the Mopar 2" lift control arms on my leveled JTR. A little bit goes a long way. It made a difference and drives great.
  8. Anyone Running Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme Wheels?

With 17x9 and 4.75 backspacing, and wider Rubi axles, the tires stick out a few inches. 37x12.5x17. Wide Rockblox mud flaps helped the mudslinging pictured below.
  9. Lets see all those Gladiators with lifts and bigger tires!

Nice! I'm still on the same combo as you with Mopar front LCA from their 2" lift. Almost a year and no reason to spend more money yet.
  10. Best model for snow.

Lockers will get you in trouble on the road in the snow. The only time they will help you is if you need help getting out of the ditch that you slid into. They also can help, at times, on mountain snow runs atop many feet of snow. Locked axles on side hills can make you slide towards the down...
  11. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

Still running the Quadra-Cheap Rubi wheels. 17x9. $99 each when I bought them. No complaints after a year of on and off road.
  12. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

Airing down. Somewhere out west, in the mountains, that aren't on fire yet.
  13. BRIGHT WHITE Gladiator JT Club

Very dusty road to the top, but the white hides it well.
  14. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

I believe you can get there from Hwy 12. We came from the other side, Hwy 410 and Bethel Ridge Road.
  15. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

Parking happens. If you look closely, they're not all Jeeps.
  16. Gladiator Glamour Shots

Not the top of the world, but the top of this trail.
  17. Rubicon with 37s?

RC 2.5 front Daystar .75 rear.
  18. Will animals tear up the interior if I leave the top and doors off all night?

I did once on my previous TJ Wrangler many years ago. Owned a house with a carport instead of a garage. The neighbor's friggin cat sprayed my seats. Nothing worse than cat pee. Took forever to get rid of the smell after hours of scrubbing and many treatments. "That's what cats do", she said. I...
  19. Loud Music at Camp?

I enjoy the sounds of nature. I enjoy music also. I've installed a subwoofer in our motorhome. I like the sounds of people having a good time. I'd rather hear neighbors music than them yelling at each other and/or their kids. I would rather music be off or down low after 10pm. I'm not going to...
