I'm running the RC spacer lift you linked above. I added Mopar lift lower control arms and rear Daystar. 75" spacers. Works for me. Less than $300 for everything. Still drives like stock on road and works for the mild trails I now run. I tow our boat with it, and flat tow it behind the...
Rugged Ridge Arcus with Maximus-3 tow loops for flat towing the JT.
Inexpensive Rugged Ridge license plate bracket that fits in-between the winch fairlead and the bumper.
I also use the clutch linkage plug for my automatic, just like @DocMike pics above.
I run my CB antenna cable, RV brake breakaway switch wire, and battery direct 12v power wire all through that hole. Re-used the plug and grommet also. Wires drop right to the driver's floor. So easy.
I tried. Our daughter grew up in Jeeps. Has driven the TJ and the JK. When she graduated from her University and got a good job, she bought a brand new......
.....Honda CRV. We are still very proud of her, and she still likes to meet us camping and go on trail rides.
Beautiful! Love that area. Last year was the last trip anywhere with the previous JK. We bought the Gladiator shortly after.
I helped an old boy launch his fishing boat on Lake Wallowa. He couldn't see it behind his huge camper, so I offered to launch and retrieve it for him. He wanted to pay me...
There are no stupid questions when it comes to Jeeps, and any decent human and fellow Jeeper would never harass you for asking.
Leaving it in 4wd will not harm anything. Sharp turns on hard packed surfaces can.
I was using a Harbor Freight portable compressor on my old TJ many years ago. It was slow, but worked. I was ready to purchase a on board air system when I won a Smittybilt portable compressor at a Jamboree raffle. It is the bigger of their two offerings, 150 CFM I believe. It is surprisingly...
I like the looks of the painted fenders better. This is my third Jeep, and I know what happens to them when off road.
I already have a couple good limb scratches on them after just a few trips off road. I can feel them more than I can see them on the bare fenders. If they were painted, they...
I have a collection of factory TJ, JK, and now a few JT parts on a shelf in my garage. Once in a while a fellow club member needs something and I give them away. I tried selling, but no luck.
Could have been a dealer trade, and the salesman/driver who traded Jeeps programmed his/her phone to the Jeep for the trip. Mine had a couple hundred miles on it. Window sticker said my Jeep was delivered to a dealer a couple hours away from our local dealer where I bought it.
Edit: get that...
My previous billet JK with 315 Milestars. I put the same tires on my white JTR with silver Q-tech wheels. Then got rid of those and went with 37's. lol
