37's.. Already needing to upgrade the steering and ball joints. Stock is crap!! I can only imagine what 40's would do to those components.. Plus I don't have much time for offroading anymore so need it to be more streetable..
I did this same setup in mine.. I noticed the factory battery is also an AGM.. Did you repurpose your old starting battery for extra juice? Was thinking about using it under the bed and having it as a third auxiliary battery.. Thoughts?
If your on the fence about the Falcon 3.1 Shocks... DO IT. It' a good chunk of change but damn does it ride so much better!! The adjustability is awesome too!
Bit the bullet and added more reserve power for my rear bedrack, lights and Dometic 75 cooler..
Impressed with the quality.. Did not realize the stock battery was actually and AGM.. So might throw it in the bed and tie it into the second battery..
Huge difference in a motor driven and a piston compressor!! You could run tools without any tank.. lol
May just do 2.5 gallon on each side and see how it works.. Can always swap them out later.. I think I had a 2.5 gallon on my TJ along with a homemade sealed bumper that was about .5 gallons...
I'm thinking a 10 gallon but maybe two 5 gallons on each side.. I'm wanting to mount them under the bed but far up enough that they won't get wrecked offroading.. I don't use my spare tire locatoion due to tire size anyway.. So all that extra space is waiting for a mod.. Was also thinking if it...
I got the RCI 12" rack and added the 3" risers so I could roll my bed cover up. It also gains a few inches so looking out the rearview is like stock.. Not sure if JCR has such a thing or not.. But 15" seems to work great for visibility..
Ive had my steer smarts for about 6 months.. advice?? Make sure you put thread locker on the small screws holding the nut bracket other they will come loose.. Found mine like that in Moab.. 2. Not sure why but my external ring fell out and the bearing came out.. Luckily it was at a tire shop...
Because the Rubi bushings were not the same size.. They would not fit in the Mojave shocks. Also they are a huge PITA to remove even with a 20 ton press..
I did this to my Rubi.. Should be the same setup..
Go to Lowe's and get a piece of sheet metal. Cut a strip out and roll it up to use as a bushing for the upper shock mount in the front. The rest of the mounts are the same size.
The front reservoir will mount in the original location. The...
truck only has 18K on it.. I put it on about 6 months ago.. So maybe 9K miles?
I got it because I didn't want the oil put back into the intake and burned off, Valve build up, carbon deposits etc.. Just more for my peace of mind and engine longevity
I got this one.. A little expensive yes but works great and easy to drain.. Has a hose that hangs down behind the fender with a valve..
