  1. Bed Topper?

A.R.E. is coming out with 3 options in a month or so but nothing yet
  2. Sting grey owners (future) check in

I thought about it, but then MapQuest showed 25 hours of driving. Wasn't sure if I wanted take off of work for the drive. I also considered break in period for the motor and that it may not be best to do steady highway speed vs. varying the speed. But it is not out of the question, especially...
  3. Sting grey owners (future) check in

Ordered my Rubicon Gladiator Sting Gray yesterday with Peterson in Idaho. I live in NC. Unfortunately looks like I could have gotten a similar deal hear in NC at Tri City in NC :o( I got a great deal but will have to pay to have the Jeep shipped to my home town. Looking forward to getting...
  4. Diesel Gladiator release?

My information came from a high volume Jeep sales manager in Idaho. He is one of the few people I met that seemed to know more than I did about all the options and builds of the Gladiator. He stated he has direct contact or is on some type of communication with the plant/FCA in the states and...
  5. Skipped factory bedliner for aftermarket: Cheaper, Thicker, and Lifetime Warranty

I used to get my spray in bed liners done locally instead of ordering. I had one experience where they accidentally damaged some of the hardware in the bed when removing for spraying. Then I realized that I don't use my truck bed as hard as some so even if the factory was thinner I thought I...
  6. Do we know when the Ecodiesel will be released?

Information I obtained today from a high volume Jeep dealer manager with what he says as direct communication states he was told February of 2020. I may go for the 3.6L.
  7. Let’s talk Ecodiesel

It's important to notice the up charges for the diesel engines are compared to the base 6 cylinder engines. When I purchased my 2015 Ram 1500 the EcoDiesel was ~$1400 more expensive than the Hemi V8. The V8 was ~$1,400 more than the base engine. The dollar values may be off, but my point is...
  8. MOPAR Off Road Wheels

They look good and I was thinking of them myself. Found them for $246 on another website.
  9. Wheel Considerations?

I don't have a Gladiator yet but hopefully will be one of first EcoDiesel owners when available. I'm not a big aftermarket guy but obviously the Jeep Brand may change that for me. I would consider putting a 2 inch lift on my Gladiator but I don't think anything else and probably stick with...
  10. Smoky Mountain Overland Build

You've done a great job with the pictures. Talking about Smoky Mountains? I live in Waynesville, NC. Haven't purchased a Gladiator yet but most likely when the EcoDiesels come out.
  11. Just got Overland, have a couple questions.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500. This truck will not allow you to pull forward/reverse if the door is open. This was a new (annoying) safety feature put into place because of apparent incidents where people were hurt or damage by having the door open while moving. I have no idea if this is what you...
  12. Frustrated...what would you do?

Your last paragraph states that if the lift stays on then you will take it to another 4x4 shop to make sure it was installed correctly. That just doesn't make sense to me. Why keep a lift that isn't working and then have someone double check and/or fix the problem. Ultimately it is your Jeep...
  13. Frustrated...what would you do?

I'm having trouble sleeping. Please make the dealer take this lift off and return to stock. I can't sleep knowing they did this.:angry:
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Which color is your truck? Billet or the granite? Thanks.
  15. Ram Releases EcoDiesel Specs -> Transmission?!?

I am curious to see how the Ecodiesel actually pans out. I am almost certain this engine is heavier than the gas engine and wondering if it will effect the payload and/or towing capability because of the added weight? Obviously, we all talk about the advantages of the diesel for towing, etc...
