I had the same experience the parts guy at Jeep told me it was not going to work and the service writer did not take a position he said he was unsure. I told them I was fairly certain it was going to work because of wedduelists advice. Webduelists advice has always been 100% accurate
I did not get the hard roll up cover for the same reason . Takes up a lot of space up front. Get sumo springs. Simple simple install. You dont even need to jack up the jeep. I installed these in less than 5 minutes.
I purchased both the 10 inch and 8 inch kicker hideaway subs to compare .
Both of them fit behind the rear seat of my 25 gladiator.
I played with the settings , and the difference is barley noticeable.
So , I kept the 8inch and returned the 10inch.
They use the same wiring harness .
