I have a 2025 . So, I have the 12.something inch head unit. What year is yours ? With a 2025 head unit, kickers ksc speakers, and the 8 inch kicker hideaway, it sounds great.
This is what I did with the ksc350s in the roll bar. This is the about the cleanest way you can do it. Its going to be covered anyway. The speaker sticks out about 1/4 inch , so get 1/4 inch plastic washers . I had to file off just a little bit, and sits in there now just fine .
Just installed the ksc350s in dash (huge difference). Then , I did the ksc40s and ksc350s in the roll bar. The ksc350s are just a little bit too big for the opening . So, I came up with this , and it's as clean of an install that you could do. It sticks out like 1/4 inch. I got plastic 1/4...
Already installed the 8 because of the price . 239.99. I noticed that the kicker speakers made in China are priced less than the same speaker made in Thailand. You probably won't be able to hear a difference.
Yes looked at the specs everything the same . Thank you. I noticed other kicker items have slightly different model numbers. The only thing I noticed is country of manufacturer China or Thailand being the difference.
Kicker has two hideaway subs. 8 inch and 10 inch. I noticed there are 2 different HS8s . 11hs8 and 51hs8. Does anyone know the difference between these two sub?
I went with one Kicker Hs8. The 8 inch sub. Good enough for me. The kicker 8 inch and 10 inch use the same harness . There is a guy on reddit that stated me unplugged his 8 and plugged in the 10. He said he could not tell a difference. Both subs use 14 gauge wire, 8 inch is 150 watts and 10 inch...
I just installed the Kicker KSC350 speakers in the dash only. Amazing . Huge difference . I have a 2025 with the 12.something inch head unit. I wonder if it puts out more power. I am satisfied with only changing the front dash speakers. However, because its so easy , Ill throw the Kicker...
I'm not an expert on car audio ; however, I can work on cars. How hard was the install for the sub. Did you catch power from inside the jeep or did you have to run a power line all the way into the engine bay ?
